The Bobcats have been a pleasant surprise this season.
The Jayhawks have already clinched another conference title under coach Bill Self. Preseason they were supposed to have to battle teams like Oklahoma State for that title but as the season progressed their overwhelming talent began to shine through.
Illinois looked like a potential sleeper early in the season but they have struggled in conference play. They are coming into East Lansing on a two game winning streak but that if the first time they have won back to back B10 games since the first two.
New Orleans may be building something but they are definitely not there yet. Their recent play has been especially uninspiring with just 1 win in their last 8 games.
This is going to be a tough spot for the Nets as they are in the middle of a lengthy road trip and will have played a very fast paced Portland team the night before.
The Bulldogs have not been as dominant in the WCC as they have been in the past this season – heck they have three losses.
This should be a very entertaining game. Houston will have played the previous night against Sacramento but given their style of play you would think they would perform well on 0 days rest and they do, 9-5 SU and ATS.
Boston has not been playing well lately and comes into Utah looking to break a 4 game losing streak.
The Orange are searching for answers after 2 losses in a row. They had been playing with fire all season long but still losing against Boston College at home in overtime was a bit of a shocker.
I feel like Louisville is constantly disappointing this season but they only have 4 losses and a #5 next to their name despite the fact that they are looking up at Cincinnati in the standings of the AAC.
The Badgers are back on a roll. They have won 4 games in a row including defeats of ranked Michigan and Michigan State teams.
The Knicks continue to struggle along showing no obvious signs that they are interested in making the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference. To get there they are going to have to climb over a few team.
You can ignore the result against Milwaukee yesterday this Denver team is just not all that good this season.
The Jayhawks took out their frustration of losing to Kansas State on TCU winning by 30. This one is on the road where the Jayhawks have struggled this season but it looks like another lamb to the slaughter at Texas Tech.
Miami is looking to catch Indiana for the top spot in the Eastern Conference in the second half. They finished the first half strong with 8 victories in their last 10 games but they still have the occasional head scratcher like when they lost at Utah a couple of weeks ago.
The Tar Heels are sitting in 4th place in the ACC but I think their tournament prospects are far from guaranteed.
