Week 11 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 8 Free Parlay

Week 8 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

The Chicago Bears cost me last week’s NFL two-team parlay after Carolina and Green Bay took their game OVER the closing total line just as predicted. The Bears could not even win their game against Miami straight-up after closing as three-point home favorites in 27-14 loss.

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 7 Free Parlay

Week 7 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

New England came through in the front-end of last week’s NFL two-team parlay, but the New York Giants’ offense never showed-up last Sunday night against Philadelphia in a 27-0 loss that I had going OVER the closing 50-point total.

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 6 Free Parlay

Week 6 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

They say that football is a game of inches, but when it comes to wagering on this sport it is a matter of points. I missed-out on cashing-in on my second-straight NFL two-team parlay last week by a half-point with a play of the OVER on the total line in the Giants 30-20 win over Atlanta.

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 5 Free Parlay

Week 5 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

Last week’s two-team parlay proved that it pays to shop around when it comes to betting odds in the NFL. The extra half point I got on BetOnline’s Eagles vs. 49ers game when I booked my parlay was the difference between a losing ticket and a healthy payoff.

I will try and hit my third NFL parlay in the first five weeks of the season with another solid two-team play for this Sunday’s games based on betting odds from BetOnline.

Game 1 – Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants

Pointspread: New York -4
Total Line: 50.5

I am not sure if the Atlanta Falcons are going to be able to pull-off a worst-to-first run in the NFC South this season, but I do know it will be fun to watch them try. Win or lose they have been able to put points on the board.

[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Matt Ryan has been throwing the ball all over the field with 1,263 passing yards and 10 touchdowns and his favorite target Julio Jones has lit it up as well with 29 receptions for 447 yards and three scores.

The Falcons are ranked second in the league in scoring (32.8 points) and their defense is ranked 28th in points allowed (28.2).

The Giants sleep-walked their way into the new season with sloppy losses to Detroit and Arizona, but they are awake now with back-to-back victories over Houston and Washington by a combined score of 75-31. Eli Manning has returned to form after struggling with turnovers his first two games and Rashad Jennings has revitalized the running game with 341 yards on the ground.

This will be a big test for both of these 2-2 teams, but the net result will be more than 50 combined points on the scoreboard.

4* NFL Parlay Pick: OVER Total

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Game 2- Cincinnati Bengals vs. New England Patriots

Pointspread: Cincinnati -1
Total Line: 45.5

The Bengals are just one of two teams left in the NFL with a perfect record, but they have only played three games after last week’s bye.

The bandwagon for this team is standing room only if you believe all the various power rankings that are currently released on a weekly basis, but I am not completely sold.

The numbers do paint a strong case against my skepticism with a defense that has allowed a total of 33 points in its first three games complementing an offense under the direction of Andy Dalton that has put up an average of 26.7 points per game.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

You can get a seat anywhere you want on New England’s bandwagon after Monday night’s 41-14 pasting by Kansas City as a 2.5-point road favorite. People started jumping off the week before when the mighty Patriots had to squeeze by lowly Oakland 16-9 as hefty 13.5 point favorites at home.

The problems with the offense are obvious as Tom Brady has been under constant pressure all season long and the defense has had its issues stopping the run.

I had New England going to the Super Bowl this season, so despite all the concrete evidence to the contrary, I am staying on the bandwagon for at least one more week with a play on the Patriots plus the point at home this Sunday night.

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 4 Free Parlay

Week 4 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

A 1-1 record on a parlay does you no good in this game as I went down in flames picking the UNDER in the Houston vs Giants game after cashing-in on New Orleans in the front end of last week’s two-team play.

That means it is back to the drawing board for Week 4 in the NFL to find another pair of matchups that are sure-fire winners based on betting odds from BetOnline.

Game 1 – Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Pointspread: Green Bay -1
Total Line: 50.5

There may be some concern in Green Bay over the team’s unexpected 1-2 start but do not tell that to quarterback Aaron Rodgers. His response to those concerns this week was to tell everyone to “relax”, which I completely agree with.

[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

This offense is still built to put points on the board and it has a golden opportunity to prove my point this week against a Chicago defense that is ranked 23rd in the NFL in total yards allowed.

Despite some issues finding the end zone so far, the total has gone OVER in Green Bay’s last six games in Week 4 of the regular season.

There is no doubt that the Bears’ offense can find the end zone in a hurry. Jay Cutler led the team back from a 13-point hole against San Francisco in Week 2 with 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

This past Monday night against the Jets, Chicago rode a fast start out of the gate to its second-straight win of the year.

Cutler has thrown for 750 yards and eight touchdowns in his first three games. The total has gone OVER in seven of the Bears’ last eight games in Week 4 of the season and it is going OVER again this Sunday afternoon at Soldiers Field.

4* NFL Parlay Pick:

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Game 2 – Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers

Pointspread: San Francisco -5.5
Total Line: 50.5

The Eagles have made an art out of digging themselves into an early hole only to climb out of it with a furious comeback to win their first three games.

In fact, they set a new NFL record with three-straight wins to start a season after falling behind by double-digits against Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Washington.

In the process Philadelphia has scored 101 points in those three wins. Nick Foles has proven that last year’s gaudy stats were not a fluke with 978 passing yards and six touchdowns and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin’s knee appears to be 100 percent with 16 receptions for 296 yards and three scores.

The 49ers have been the polar opposites in their stunning 1-2 start.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

They have built a comfortable lead in their first three games with a total of 59 points in the first half only to watch their last two games against Chicago and Arizona slip away with a dismal performance in the second half.

All told, San Francisco has scored a grand total of just three points in the second half this season.

I had this team taking a step backwards this season after three-straight runs to the NFC title game, but the Oddsmakers have given the 49ers the benefit of the doubt with a 5.5-point spread against a team that only gets better as the game wears on.

The Eagles plus the points is the biggest gift on the board and my back-end pick for this week’s two-team NFL parlay.

NFL Football Picks: Handicapping Angles – Week 3 Free Parlay

Week 3 FREE NFL Parlay Picks

After hitting my first two-team parlay of the new NFL season I had both winners in last week’s parlay. The problem is that you can only cash-in if both teams cover the spread.

That means it is back to the drawing board for Week 3 in the NFL to find another pair of matchups that are sure-fire winners based on betting odds from sites at Cappers Picks.

Game 1 – Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints

Pointspread: New Orleans -9.5
Total Line: 51

I went against the Vikings last week as three-point home underdogs against New England not because of the whole Adrian Peterson mess, but because they are the Vikings.

[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

I am going the same way this week given that Minnesota now has to go on the road to a place that even good teams cannot win games.

It is not all bad with the Vikings behind some decent play from quarterback Matt Cassel and a solid performance from the defense in Minnesota’s 34-6 victory over St. Louis on opening day, but this team is walking into a hornet’s nest this Sunday in New Orleans.

This Sunday the rubber meets the road at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, where the Saints desperately need a win to avoid a dreaded 0-3 start. The current pointspread has actually come down a bit after opening at 10.5 points which only makes this game all the more attractive.

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

4* NFL Parlay Pick:

There is no doubt that New Orleans’ defense has had its issues in back-to-back losses to Atlanta and Cleveland as a road favorite, but a return to the Big Easy should quickly right the ship with a dominant win that covers the 9.5 points.

Game 2 – Houston Texans vs. New York Giants

Pointspread: Houston -2.5
Total Line: 42

The Texans are just one victory away from eclipsing last season’s win total after posting back-to-back wins over Washington and Oakland to start the year.

While that may not be such an impressive achievement given the way both of those teams have looked so far, you cannot deny how well Houston’s defense looked by allowing a grand total of just 20 points in the two wins.

JJ Watt is earning every penny of his new fat contract and the Texans are getting it done even with first-round pick Jadeveon Clowney out of the starting lineup due to injury.

New York was hoping to quickly erase the memory of last season’s 0-6 start, but it is becoming to be a reoccurring nightmare with losses to Detroit and Arizona by a combined score of 60-28 in the first two games this season.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Eli Manning is up to his old tricks with four interceptions and the Giants’ overall turnover ratio is already at the bottom of the NFL at -5. This was the primary cause of last year’s slow start.

I fully expect head coach Tom Coughlin to once again circle the wagons to get his team out of this funk, but it is not going to happen this week against Houston’s defense.

4* NFL Parlay Pick:

The Texans will probably run their record to 3-0, but I am going with the UNDER 42 as my top pick in the back-end of this week’s two-team NFL parlay.

Check out our Updated NFL Week 3 Odds.
