The news is all about the Indiana Pacers and their demise leaving the Heat as the odds on favourite to take the East, seemingly unopposed. They are still in a dogfight to capture that top seed in the Conference so any stumbles could have real consequences moving forward.

There is no team hotter in the league right now than the San Antonio Spurs. They have been beating the good and the not to good teams and put up one of the most unexpectedly lopsided performances of the season when they visited the Pacers and trounced them by 26 points.
Philadelphia could not close the deal on A.J. Burnett’s first start as a Phillie last night as the bullpen gave up two runs in the later innings in the loss. In this game offense was much harder to come by as the Phillies were held to just 8 hits.
The Nets have have been one of the best teams in the league over the last few months. Heading into Tuesday night their spot in the playoffs was pretty much guaranteed and they are only a couple of games back of Toronto in the Atlantic Division.
Well we are down to the final weekend now with just 4 teams remaining. If I had to I would say there are only a couple of surprises at the Final Four.
