Even if they were not on such a great run this would still be a highly anticipated battle between the best teams in the East and Western Conferences.
San Antonio is amazing because they win at a high level even though they don’t have a superstar.

Tim Duncan might have been one in his prime but that was in the past and Tony Parker never really fit that description for me. However, they have one of the deepest rosters in the league and are one of the most balanced, ranking in the top 6 in points scored and allowed.
It is hard to pick who will start from game to game but they almost always win.
While they have been racking up wins the Spurs have also been a boon for bettors. Over the course of their 17 game winning streak they have been 13-4 ATS including covering a 20 point spread against the Sixers.
Regardless of the situation the Spurs have been money.
There are not many situations you would comfortably bet against them.

Indiana
The Pacers have been sliding a bit down the stretch. They have been looking very mortal though they got a nice win over Miami last week. Indiana has been losing more frequently than they did in the first half but most of those losses have been on the road – they are an amazing 33-4 at home this season.
If they were to beat the Spurs it might be their most impressive win of the season given how S.A. is playing.
All-Star forward Paul George has been taking some heat with the Pacers’ struggles. Some of it has been justified thanks to some anemic games but he is still the team’s best scoring option.
The reality is that when the Pacers have been losing it has mostly been because of anemic offense so you can look at players like Roy Hibbert, Lance Stephenson and Davis West as well.
The Pacers reinforced with guys like Evan Turner and Andrew Bynum but maybe they should have left well enough alone.
The Pacers have lost 4 in a row ATS and 6 of 7. Having the top defense in the league is great but this team has struggled to score so badly that on some nights is hasn’t mattered much.
This is a rare time you can actually get points with the best home team in the league. I am not going to miss that opportunity.
