Two perennial powerhouses that have each challenged for BCS Titles recently meet in the Fiesta Bowl Monday night when the Ohio State Buckeyes (10-2 SU, 5-6 ATS) face off against the Texas Longhorns (11-1 SU, 9-3 ATS). This will be Ohio State’s sixth BCS game in the last seven years (more than any other team over that span)
Well here we are again and the Ohio State Buckeyes are in another BCS bowl game. Well recent history has not been good for the Buckeyes with them losing the last two BCS National Championship games. Coach Tressell has had many sleepless nights trying to figure out why they have not been able to compete with the big boys in CFB.
Both the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins finished the season with 11 and 5 straight-up records. The Ravens didn’t just finish the season with a terrific straight-up record but they also finished the season with a fantastic sports betting against the spread record of 12 and 4. You can go on the internet and find countless articles on how the BCS has ruined college football or how it is the greatest thing that college football has ever seen. Adding another one to mix might be worthless but I feel I need to add my two cents into discussion.
I am not a fan of the USC Trojans and I am certainly not a fan of Pete Carroll. I think I dislike USC because it is so good year in and year out, Carroll acts smug all the time and the fans suck.
