We are treated to three college football games on Thursday night but this is definitely the worst of the three. Two Conference USA teams face off but neither has beaten an FBS team yet this season. In fact in their wins against FCS teams one team failed to cover and the other was outgained in yards – hardly inspiring.

The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes and California Golden Bears are set to face off in Week 3, which will give Cal a chance for revenge from last season. The Golden Bears gave up a 72-yard touchdown pass in the final minutes to give Ohio State a 35-28 win.
The Dolphins got their first win of the season last week and while they have a solid rushing offense and defense the same cannot be said about their passing offense and defense.
Both the Bucs and the Cowboys had impressive opening season wins, but each lost last week. The Bucs had a big lead over the Giants, but their pass defense let them down and they ended up losing.
The Bills are coming off their first win of the season where they looked solid on both sides of the ball.
The Bears want to forget their last game when Jay Cutler was intercepted 4 times and was sacked 7 times and during that game he let his offensive line know how he felt.
Both the Giants and the Panthers rebounded from season opening losses and the panthers looked very impressive last week beating the Saints at home.
Week 2 of the NFL season is done and what a week it was! There are definitely some teams emerging already as contenders but there were some previous contenders that laid an egg and fell down the Rankings. Parity is a real thing in the NFL – the proof is in the Power Rankings!
This is the first ACC game for Florida State and while they have played a couple of cream puffs before conference play they have scored at least 55 points in each of their first 2 games and they have only given up 3 points.
Virginia Tech is 2-0 after 2 home wins and while their D has played well their offense has only been decent. They have a good chance to get on track facing a Pitt team that is off to a terrible 0-2 start and has the nation’s 94th ranked defense.
The buckeyes have not faced the Golden Bears in 40 years and they look to get to 3-0 for the 2nd time in the last 3 seasons. Ohio State has a great rushing attack, but their starting RB will miss this game with a minor knee injury.
Nebraska was upset losing at UCLA last week and while Arkansas State plays in the Sun Belt conference the Huskers cannot take them for granted since they have a solid offense and they are coming off a win.
