Jets Over / Under Season Wins
Despite intense scrutiny the Jets finished 8-8 and out of the playoffs last season. I know that result was far from comforting to fans but at least it was an improvement from the year before.

The National Football League season is right around the corner. The Seattle Seahawks look to defend the first Super Bowl win in franchise history, while 31 other teams would be more than happy to knock them off their pedestal.
The Giants didn’t exactly hit rock bottom last season but it was definitely a disappointment.
The NFL teams have gotten their mini-camps underway, giving us our first look at the newest NFLers in their team colors. With odds already out for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, we have an opportunity to make some money on the backs of these players.
The start of the 2014 NFL season is still a ways away, but lines are already available as far out as Week 16 (lines aren’t yet set for Week 17 because it’s too early to predict whether teams will have something to play for, making those lines too difficult to set).

Jets Try for Improbable 20-0 Start – At Patriots on Thursday Night
The New York Jets and New England Patriots meet on Thursday both coming off opening weeks wins but with different tastes in their mouths. For the Jets a win against Tampa Bay was met with utter jubilation while a win in Week 1 for New England over Buffalo came with a sense of dissatisfaction.
Battle of the Bad – Raiders Host Jags in Week 2
Unless you have Maurice Jones-Drew or Darren McFadden on your Fantasy team, the interest level in the game between the Jags and Raiders in Week 2 doesn’t exactly jump off the page. Both teams were expected to lose in Week 1 but only 1 team was even competitive.
He’s claimed the receiving title in each of the last two years, by a wide margin, but there’s just no fun in backing Calvin Johnson (+300) to pull off the same feat a third year in a row. Many bettors disagree, as the appeal of backing a man who just broke Jerry Rice’s single-season receiving mark can be too much for some to resist.
There wasn’t much of a competition for the rushing title a year ago as Adrian Peterson literally ran away with that distinction. With so many bettors expecting a highly unlikely repeat this season, there’s plenty of value to be found in the other names on the board.
Rule changes by the NFL’s competition committee have helped quarterbacks to thrive over the last two seasons. We are truly in the era of the quarterback, with pinball numbers posted by a handful of passers each year.
