The Eagles are a disaster and believe it or not there is still a chance the Giants actually qualify for the playoffs…if they win. Lots of intrigue for this one but it should be an easy win for New York.
Week 10 was a good one! 4-0-0 has continued a pretty good three week run in which I have gone 9-3 ATS. Will my roll shy me away from the Big Games in Week 11? Heck no – I love the marquee matchups and so should you.
NFL news: LeSean McCoy battles Giants D-line on Twitter
NFLers continue to slog each other via Twitter.
The latest offender is Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, who called New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora “Overrated n soft 3rd best d-line on his team honestly.”
Umenyiora responded by comparing McCoy to Lady Gaga and a Chihuahua.
In addition to defending Umenyiora’s skills, Giants defensive end Justin Tuck spoke out against the Twitter wars this week.
“I honestly think social media has made people cowards,” Tuck said. “Where I’m from, if you had a problem with somebody you said it to their face and that was it.
I think now people are hiding behind computers and smartphones to get out something they got on their chest.”
Heitmann Out Again
San Francisco 49ers center Eric Heitmann is expected to miss his second consecutive season after undergoing neck surgery.
Terrell Owens owes child support
Terrell Owens reportedly has refused to pay the full $5,000 in monthly child support owed to the mother of his child.
Melanie Paige Smith filed court papers in Atlanta alleging that the star NFL wide receiver owes her partial child support for June 2011. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

There will be more than just some good old-fashioned divisional hatred on the line when the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants meet up on Sunday night. The Eagles currently hold the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture while the New York Giants are the No. 7 seed – just one game behind.
This is a game with an intensely storied rivalry that’s only furthered by the last ten games, which the Eagles and Giants have evenly split with a 5-5 SU/ATS record. Philadelphia has strung together three big wins over second-tier teams, but New York managed to stifle the Dallas Cowboys last week and are now one game shy of tying for the division lead.
The running game could be the key determiner in the winner of Sunday’s NFC Playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.
Philadelphia will look to Brian Westbrook to carry them to a payday as four-point road underdogs while the New York Giants will put the ball in the hands of Brandon Jacobs.
The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants (12-4, 12-4 ATS) get a chance to atone for the sin they committed back in Week 14 when the Philadelphia Eagles (10-6-1, 11-6 ATS) march into the Meadowlands for a second visit. It’s not often that a pair of division rivals get to square off for a third time in the same season, but that’s exactly where head coach Andy Reid’s Eagles and head coach Tom Coughlin’s Giants find themselves in this afternoons NFL betting affair.
Sports betting fans have to consider this the most interesting NFL betting game of the NFL Divisional Playoffs as the number one seeded New York Giants take the field against their arch rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles were fantastic on the road this past Sunday when easily covering a 3 point BetUS online betting spread against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Philadelphia Eagles (6-5-1 SU, 7-5 ATS, 6-6 O/U) bounced back nicely from a disheartening loss in Week 12, routing the Arizona Cardinals 48-20 as a 3-point home favorite in the BetUS Sportsbook on Sunday. The New York Giants (11-1 SU, 10-2 ATS, 7-4-1 O/U) have won seven straight games, including Sunday’s convincing 23-7 win over the Washington Redskins as a 7.5-point road favorite.
The defending Super Bowl champions have a chance to wrap up the NFC East crown on Sunday afternoon, and Bookmaker Sportsbook customers will have their chance to sink their teeth into all of the action when the Philadelphia Eagles (6-5-1, 7-5 ATS) invade the Meadowlands to do battle with the New York Giants (11-1, 10-2 ATS).
The New York Giants just keep rolling along. Nothing seems to faze the best team in the NFL. There isn’t another team that treats sports betting fans better than the New York Giants who are 11 and 1 straight-up and 10 and 2 against the BetUS online betting spread. The G-Men have one of the best offenses in the NFL. They have an extraordinary running game. Because of that the suspension of Plaxico Burress shouldn’t hurt this team at all. Eli Manning has plenty of other weapons to throw the football too. Forget Plaxico. His loss might actually make the Giants a better against the spread NFL betting team although I’m not sure that’s possible.
