A lot of sports handicapping experts saw this coming but we’ll have to see if the results are any different. Three matchups we saw in Week 17 will be replayed the Wild Card round of the playoffs and the general hope is that the games are a lot more competitive.
It’s safe to say the Bengals have little to prove this week. Everyone doubted the Cardiac Cats throughout the season and they responded by running the table against their own division and winning the AFC North Crown. This is a good, not great, football team and everyone knows it. The Jets are a different story.

I still can’t get my head around the fact that the Cincinnati Bengals are leading the AFC North right now. The Bengals! Thanks to some miracle work on Carson Palmer’s part (and some mistimed penalties on the Ravens’ part), the Bengals used the fourth quarter to mount another improbable comeback. They’ve beaten every team in their division already, and have gone 5-2 ATS in their last 7 at home. For a team that has been in utter turmoil for countless seasons, it’s a very sudden change.
