Do you smell what the Cincinnati Bengals (7-2 SU, 6-3 ATS) are cooking BetUS NFL sports betting fanatics?

I do – and I can tell pro football bettors everywhere that the Bengals are fixin’ up a California-sized smackdown for the ‘jabroni’ Oakland Raiders (2-7 SU, 4-5 ATS).

My WWE mock imitation of two of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s most famous pro wrestling slogans, not withstanding, it’s a fact pro football gamblers – the Raiders are going down and they are going down hard in their Week 11 matchup against the streaking Bengals.

Keys to a Raiders victory

The Raiders are going to have to win the battle of turnovers if they are going to have any chance at upsetting a well-balanced Bengals team in this matchup.

In Cincy’s 12-7 Week 1 loss to Denver, quarterback Carson Palmer tossed two interceptions while garnering no turnovers from the Broncos and in the club’s 28-17 Week 6 loss to Houston the Bengals turned the ball over three times to Houston’s two turnovers.

Now, this won’t be an easy task for a Raiders team that is -8 in the turnover department, having coughed up the ball a whopping 21 times this season (11 int’s, 10 fumbles) but Oakland will have to play mostly mistake-free football to win this game.

Keys to a Bengals victory

Cincinnati needs to shut down Oakland’s nearly non-existent offense and repeatedly punch pitiful quarterback JaMarcus Russell in the mouth, which shouldn’t be too hard seeing as how the Raiders are averaging just 9.8 points per game this season.

The Bengals also need to keep their fine balance on offense by getting just enough passing from Carson Palmer (211.9 ypg) and team rushing yards (122.3 ypg) to keep Oakland’s generally solid defense guessing.

Cincinnati will also need to keep the pressure off of Palmer up front as the Raiders sacked Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb six times in their Week 6 win over the Eagles while safety Michael Huff picked off K.C. quarterback Matt Cassel twice in Oakland’s 13-10 Week 2 win over the Chiefs.

Key Trends

Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.
Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Raiders are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Raiders are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. AFC.

Analysis: It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize the Bengals are going to win this game over an Oakland franchise that is just mired in foolishness from top to bottom.

I also like Cincinnati to cover the 9.5-point NFL point spread with room to spare in this contest and extend their three-game U and ATS winning streak in the BetUS Sportsbook.

Cincinnati is averaging a respectable 22.0 points per game this season and should finish this game with just over that amount of points while giving up somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-10 points to a Raiders team that has averaged 13.0 points per contest over their last two.

No matter how you cut it though, this game is a lock that NFL sports betting fanatics should jump all over in Week 11.

After back to back wins over the Ravens and the Steelers the Bengals have to be careful of a letdown against a team they should easily beat. Remember what happened to Philadelphia when they travelled out to Oakland earlier this season.
