NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 7
Week 7 on the NFL season is in the books and last week’s results translated to a shakeup in the Power Rankings. There is just one undefeated team left – they are obviously the #1 team – a shock to everyone. The top 4 have all flip-flopped thanks to Sunday night’s marquee matchup while some new teams enter the Dirty Dozen this week.
San Francisco vs Tennessee NFL Football Spread/Handicapping
The San Francisco 49ers arrive in Nashville riding a three-game winning stream to take on the Tennessee Titans who are just game back from taking over the top spot in the AFC South when the two square off on Sunday.
With the start of NFL training camps right around the corner, it is the perfect time to dig a bit deeper into Bovada’s NFL futures odds including the ones for a team’s chances to win its division. This time around we will focus-in on the NFC West.
San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and Baltimore QB Joe Flacco have the best odds to win the Super Bowl MVP and in 5 of the last 6 years a QB has won the award including the last 3.
NFL Handicapping – 49ers vs Jets Betting Spread / Matchup
There is a good chance they could get back on track in this game facing the Jets (2-1), who are at home, but lost their defensive leader in CB Darrelle Revis in their last game. NFL lines have the 49ers as 4-point road favorites with a total of 41.5.
NFL Divisional Previews – 2012 NFC West Betting Breakdown
The 49ers were the surprise team of the league last season and came within a late turnover of making it to the Super Bowl. They ran away with the NFC West last season and are the major favorites to win it this season.
Two of possibly the better teams in the West Bracket will do battle on Thursday afternoon when the fifth-seeded New Mexico Lobos meet up with the 12th-seed Long Beach State 49ers at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.
The formula is quite simple for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday – beat the St. Louis Rams and guarantee themselves a first round bye in the playoffs. Standing in their way is the wet paper bag known as the Rams!
Week 10 N.Y. vs San Francisco NFL Free Pick – Odds – Handicapping
NFC supremacy is on the line on Sunday when the 6-2 New York Giants head west to take on the 7-1 San Francisco 49ers. Both teams have been pleasant surprises this season and both need to keep winning in order to stabilize their place at the top of their respective divisions.
NFC East Game Previews- San Francisco 49ers vs Philadelphia Eagles
The San Francisco 49ers will look to make an early statement in the NFC West with a victory over the struggling Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. The kick-off in this one is slated for 1 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast regionally on FOX.
NFL news: LeSean McCoy battles Giants D-line on Twitter
NFLers continue to slog each other via Twitter.
The latest offender is Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, who called New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora “Overrated n soft 3rd best d-line on his team honestly.”
Umenyiora responded by comparing McCoy to Lady Gaga and a Chihuahua.
In addition to defending Umenyiora’s skills, Giants defensive end Justin Tuck spoke out against the Twitter wars this week.
“I honestly think social media has made people cowards,” Tuck said. “Where I’m from, if you had a problem with somebody you said it to their face and that was it.
I think now people are hiding behind computers and smartphones to get out something they got on their chest.”
Heitmann Out Again
San Francisco 49ers center Eric Heitmann is expected to miss his second consecutive season after undergoing neck surgery.
Terrell Owens owes child support
Terrell Owens reportedly has refused to pay the full $5,000 in monthly child support owed to the mother of his child.
Melanie Paige Smith filed court papers in Atlanta alleging that the star NFL wide receiver owes her partial child support for June 2011. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
