Two surprise teams in the NFL meet in a key NFC tilt on Sunday afternoon when the surprisingly good Seattle Seahawks take on the surprisingly underwhelming Detroit Lions. In one of the marquee matchups of Week 8 the New York Giants attempt to avenge a loss earlier this season at home to the Dallas Cowboys. Some teams have climbed – the Packers have finally woken up and some have slipped – what happened to the Ravens?
Headline: NFC North Showdown Highlights NFL Week 7 Schedule
The Detroit Lions will look to erase the memories of an unflattering start to their 2012 campaign when they travel to Chicago in Week 7 to take on a Bears squad that has been impressive thus far and is coming off their bye. With the NFC North wide open, every divisional game is critical – needless to say this should be an interesting matchup.

The San Francisco 49ers, fresh off one of their worst defeats in the last two seasons look to rebound against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 – a team that is not only tied with the 49ers for first in the NFC West but is also coming off an impressive win against the juggernaut Patriots.
So how am I doing? How about two straight weeks picking the winner? I will try to keep the roll going this as the Pros move to the Sea Island Course in Georgia where wind will be a factor and putting will be paramount on a course that measures just over 7000 yards.
Dave B’s NFL Power Rankings – Week 7
