Now, Kansas City, nearing the verge of total collapse, has some off-field drama with the news that starting running back Larry Johnson has been charged with assault of a female – for the third time – since joining Kansas City as the teams first round draft pick in 2003.
The San Diego Chargers are the Jekyll and Hyde of the NFL this season. I don’t understand this team. It’s been difficult as an online football betting fan to get a bead on a team that for some reason can look awesome against good competition and then tries to mail it in against bad competition.
The Pittsburgh Steelers finally get to play a game on a Sunday afternoon. How crazy has the Steelers’ schedule been so far? They’ve played on Sunday night twice and then they had that Monday nighter against the Baltimore Ravens just a couple of weeks ago. The Steelers haven’t played on a Sunday afternoon since their first game of the season. It will be nice to see the Steelers in the morning here on the West Coast.

The Chargers looked OK on Sunday night, but it was a closer game than the final score showed. The San Diego secondary is still suspect and not playing up to its talent level. The Bills on the other hand have been playing solid football and are at home. They will sneak out a victory in a close one.
The Dallas Cowboys (4-2 SU, 2-4 ATS), coming off a highly disappointing loss, and the St. Louis Rams (1-4 SU & ATS), fresh off an uplifting first win of the season, will do battle on Sunday in NFL action that will take place at 1 PM ET at the Edward Jones Dome (artificial turf) in St. Louis.
The Washington Redskins (4-2 SU, 4-2 ATS, 2-4 O/U) were caught off guard by the previously-winless St. Louis Rams in a contest I predicted correctly in the BetUS Locker Room last week, losing 19-17 at home on Sunday.
The Cleveland Browns (2-3 SU, 3-2 ATS, 2-3 O/U), won their second game of the season and may have saved their season in the process, by absolutely spanking the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants 35-14 at home on Monday night in a shocker that I’ll admit I never saw coming.
The San Diego Chargers (3-3 SU, 3-2-1 ATS), coming off an important revenge win that evened their record, will travel back east on Sunday when they take on the Buffalo Bills (4-1 SU, 3-2 ATS), who are looking very good in the AFC East division, in NFL action that is scheduled to take place at 1 PM ET at Ralph Wilson Stadium (artificial turf) in Orchard Park, NY.
The Chicago Bears (3-3 SU, 3-2-1 ATS, 2-4 O/U), fell to the surprising, young Atlanta Falcons 22-20 on the road last week on a last-second field goal and need a win in the worst way as they host their longtime NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings (3-3 SU, 2-4 ATS, 3-3 O/U) this week.

The Jaguars have been one of the bigger disappointments this NFL betting season. When they visit Denver at INVESCO Field this weekend, it’ll be hard for any of their remaining betting backers to get on board. Jacksonville is 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS, with a point differential of -2.2.
