Washington: The Week That Was
If the Huskies were flying high after their stunning upset of USC, they were brought back to earth this past weekend at Stanford. Washington got clobbered by the Cardinal, 34-14, as Steve Sarkisian’s club surrendered 321 rushing yards, 200 of them to Stanford running back Toby Gerhart. Despite allowing only seven completed passes, Washington’s defense was repeatedly gashed on the ground, a sign that UW’s defensive front needs to get stronger.
UCLA Bruins (3-0 SU, 3-0 ATS) at Stanford Cardinal (3-1 SU, 3-1 ATS)

Oklahoma: The Week That Was
Since losing quarterback Sam Bradford in the season opener and a shocking 14-13 loss to BYU, the Sonners defense has recorded back-to-back shutouts and impressive victories. Bob Stoops hopes to have Bradford back this week as the quarterback is back at practice and competing in most of the drills. Without their Heisman Trophy winner Oklahoma still rolled Tulsa 45-0 as 18 point favorites last time out. The Sooners are coming off of a bye week.
Michigan Wolverines @ Michigan State Spartans
Saturday October 3 – Spartan Stadium – 12:00 PM ET
Line: Michigan State – 2.5, O/U: 57
Michigan: The Week That Was
The Michigan Wolverines are 4-0 for the first time since 2006 after pulling out a dramatic 36-33 victory at the big house against Indiana. Unfortunately, as 20-point home favorites winning by three is not that impressive and that is probably why the Wolverines are underdogs in their first road test of the season.
Virginia Cavaliers (0-3 SU, 1-1 ATS) at North Carolina Tar Heels (3-1 SU, 1-2 ATS)

A glimpse at Hawaii
Hawaii this season has been all about passing! QB Greg Alexander leads the nation in passing yards and passing efficiency.
Illinois Fighting Illini (1-1 SU, 0-1 ATS) at Ohio State Buckeyes (2-1 SU, 2-1 ATS)
Saturday September 26: 3:30 p.m.
BetUS Football Betting Odds: Ohio State -14, Total Points: 50
Coming off a very impressive 38-0 victory over Toledo last Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes welcome a familiar foe to the Horseshoe this weekend, and one that always seems to give them trouble.
The Cal Bears have been making plenty of noise this year, going 3-0 SU and 2-0 ATS so far. The big reason for that is their Heisman candidate, Jahvid Best, totaling 412 yards on the ground, and 8 touchdowns with a 7.8 yards-per-carry average. He’ll get a chance to open up a can of whoop-ass on an Oregon defense that’s allowed 151.0 rushing yards against, but will it be enough to cover the betting line?
Indiana Hoosiers (3-0 SU, 2-0 ATS) at Michigan Wolverines (3-0 SU, 3-0 ATS)
Saturday, September 26: 12:00 p.m.
BetUS.com Football Betting Odds: Michigan -20, Total Points 54 ½
Oh what a difference a month makes.
At this time four weeks ago, Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez had to defend himself and his players, after a 3-9 disaster last year that coupled with allegations of offseason NCAA violations that left his team in turmoil. Now entering conference play, all the bad is behind them, as Michigan is 3-0 and thinking that they might have what it takes to win the Big 10.
Miami vs. Virginia Tech Preview – Get On That Miami Bandwagon!
I’m a big fan of hype trains, and none are bigger right now than the University of Miami’s sudden and unexpected locomotive of awesomeness. The Hurricanes have thundered out to a 2-0 SU record, and now face the Virginia Tech Hokies. When the ninth ranked team clashes with the eleventh ranked team, it’ll be an ACC matchup that could very well define the division. Either this becomes Miami’s to lose, or another wide open affair.

Here are some of the NCAA college football betting trends as they relate to this matchup:
LSU had its hands full in the season opener, as Washington piled up 478 yards against them, but they have had an easier time of it with the last two opponents who were considerably less explosive on offense. They beat up on Vanderbilt and Louisiana-Lafayette, allowing just 12 points in the process. The interesting statistic on defense is that LSU is allowing 27.4 yards for every point it has allowed. That means teams have really had to work to score.
North Carolina Tar Heels (3-0 SU, 1-1 ATS) at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-1, 0-2 ATS)
Saturday, September 26: 12:00 p.m.
BetUS.com Football Betting Odds: Georgia Tech -3 ½, Total Points 45
Although North Carolina and Georgia Tech come into Saturday’s matchup with a combined five wins, each team is still trying to figure out who they are.
