For a third time this year, the sports gambling community is going to see the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys square off. The fans in Philadelphia will be hoping for a different result as the Cowboys have taken the first two matchups.

It is conceivable that Denver can clinch a playoff spot this Sunday, if a few things happen. That would be a quite a reward for a roller coaster season, in which Jay Cutler was traded, six straight wins and then four straight losses. They came back with a couple of victories, and now have dropped two straight, one to the undefeated Indianapolis Colts and another to the Oakland Raiders, who staged a last-minute drive down the field to beat Denver at Invesco Field by a point.
Games like this with a touchdown spread are seriously difficult to gage. I usually wait until the line dips a little lower for my liking but as long as this game is sitting underneath -8.0 in favor of the Eagles, I’m taking the Niners. San Francisco isn’t a great team, but they’re a sneaky team and a road team that can catch you off guard if you just think “Niners suck” and bet against them.
This is a game with an intensely storied rivalry that’s only furthered by the last ten games, which the Eagles and Giants have evenly split with a 5-5 SU/ATS record. Philadelphia has strung together three big wins over second-tier teams, but New York managed to stifle the Dallas Cowboys last week and are now one game shy of tying for the division lead.
