The New England Patriots (9-5 SU, 7-7 ATS) are still fighting to win the AFC East. There’s not a single BetUS sports betting fan in the world that believed it would be the Chicago Bears fighting for a playoff spot in Week 16 while the Green Bay Packers would have lost 9 games already. The Packers just don’t have it this season. There have been moments, like their overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans, where Green Bay looked like one of the top three or four teams in the NFC Conference.
The Arizona Cardinals travel to New England to take on the Patriots in a game that means nothing to the Cardinals and everything to New England. For sports betting fans, whether the Cardinals win or lose is a big deal in this game but to the Cardinals it probably doesn’t mean all that much.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins
The Washington Redskins were eliminated from playoff contention when they lost last weekend to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Redskins just don’t have the experience yet to get any further than they have this season.
The Baltimore Ravens travel to Big D to take on the Cowboys in a game that both teams pretty much have to win. The Ravens had a chance to take away control of the AFC North from the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday but failed to do so. Now sports betting fans will be waiting eagerly to see if the Ravens can bounce back and beat the Cowboys on the road.
The Carolina Panthers travel to New York to take on the Giants in a game with huge implications for which team will secure home field throughout the NFC Conference playoffs. A lot of sports betting fans probably aren’t aware that the Panthers have quietly gone through the regular season winning game after game.
The Tennessee Titans were awful their game against the Houston Texans this past Sunday. Now, they have to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Strangely enough, the Titans haven’t secured home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That’s why the loss against the Texans means so much. The Steelers are 11 and 3 straight-up. They have a chance to secure home field advantage in the playoffs should they beat the Titans and then win in Week 17.
For the first time all season, there is a new team in the top-2. That’s right, a team known for grit, tenacity and guts has climbed to the top as our season-favorite Titans and Giants hit massive stumbling blocks. The race for the Wildcard has never been more exciting, with sixteen teams grinding out for a shot at the Superbowl in Tampa Bay, Week 16 and 17 have all the relevance that you’ve been waiting for.
Okay, college football fans. Recess is over; time to get back to work. The Miami Dolphins just need to keep winning and they will find themselves in the NFL Playoffs. It’s amazing when sports betting fans think about it. The Dolphins were 1 and 15 last season. Bill Parcells takes over as general manager.
The San Diego Chargers (5-8 SU, 5-7-1 ATS) still have playoff hopes, feint as they are. On Sunday they will square off against the Kansas City Chiefs (2-11 SU, 7-6 ATS) in an AFC West game in NFL pro football sports betting action that is scheduled to get underway at 1 PM ET at Arrowhead Stadium (natural turf) in Kansas City.
