One thing was obvious about the Detroit Lions last week in their victory over the Washington Redskins. That was that the Lions are a better team than anyone really knows. When rookie QB Matthew Stafford is given time, he can be every bit as effective as the Lions’ thought he would be when they drafted him #1 last April. The Lions’ defense has much better players and much better communication than the team in 2008.

That makes this Thursday night’s game between the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears a must win for both teams.
There could be little interest from a fan’s point-of-view regarding this game because the Jacksonville Jaguars proved on Monday night that they just don’t care to play NFL football any more. They threw in the towel against the Houston Texans early on in that game. The Chicago Bears on the other hand have a chance to make the NFC Conference playoffs this year.
The Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams meet in Week 12 of the NFL season with both teams reeling from big losses this past Sunday. The Bears were throttled by their most hated rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in a mistake prone game that had to cause more than one sports betting fan to shudder. The Bears have now lost two games in a row and are in second place in the NFC North Division.
One of the oldest rivalries in the NFL, perhaps the oldest, continues this Sunday when the Chicago Bears travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. The Bears versus Packers has always been a tough rivalry and sports betting fans shouldn’t expect anything less in this game as both teams will be trying to bounce back from a loss last Sunday.
The Tennessee Titans travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in a game where the Bears will want to solidify their position atop the NFC North. The problem for Chicago, of course, is that Rex Grossman more than likely will get the nod as starting quarterback in this game. Grossman can be very, very bad at times.
Man, the Minnesota Vikings got lucky against the Detroit Lions this past Sunday! Detroit had the game won. NFL betting fans who had money on the Lions to win straight-up had be jumping and cursing their televisions after the referee called that bogus pass interference penalty against the Lions. Ryan Longwell hit the game winner and the Vikings won. Of course, Minnesota didn’t come close to covering against the BetUS online sportsbook betting spread.

The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in a game that should interest a lot of NFL betting fans. Both the Eagles and Bears appear much improved from last season when neither team made the playoffs. The Eagles in particular look like one of the better teams in the NFL this year.
