They’ve beaten every team in their division already, and have gone 5-2 ATS in their last 7 at home. For a team that has been in utter turmoil for countless seasons, it’s a very sudden change.
If not for the outstanding play of Matt Schaub (300.6 passing yards per game), the Texans would be getting demolished. They’ve allowed 28.7 points and 205.0 rushing yards against per game. Good thing for them they get to play at home against Oakland, the second worst offense in the league. JaMarcus Russell a huge bust this season, leading an offense that generates just 223.0 yards per game and has managed an average of 12.0 points per game.
