Titans vs. Bears Week 10 Spread

Point spread for the week 10 NFL clash between the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling…

NFL Week 10 – Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears

The Tennessee Titans travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in a game where the Bears will want to solidify their position atop the NFC North. The problem for Chicago, of course, is that Rex Grossman more than likely will get the nod as starting quarterback in this game. Grossman can be very, very bad at times.

Sports betting fans must have shuddered when Kyle Orten went down with an injury last Sunday. Orten to Grossman is a serious step down. Chicago does have the defense to stick it to the Titans, though, because Brian Urlacher and the rest of the crew are fast enough to chase down Titans’ running back Chris Johnson and big enough to take down LenDale White.

The Titans are 8 and 0 straight up and 7 and 1 against the online betting spread so far this season. Tennessee is a very good team, but in the past couple of weeks a few weaknesses have been exposed. Their passing game is still suspect and their defense can be beat at times. Still, at an online wagering record of 7 and 1, the Titans sure look like a tough team going into this game.

Here are the BetUS online sportsbook betting odds for this game.

Kick-off: 11/09/2008 1:00 pm est.

Tennessee Titans – 3 ½ – 110 – 145 O 38 ½ – 110
Chicago Bears + 3 ½ – 110 + 125 U 38 ½ – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The Tennessee Titans are 5 and 2 against the spread in their last 7 games versus a team with a winning record at home.
The Under is 4 and 1 in the Tennessee Titans last 5 games on the road.
The Chicago Bears are 7 and 1 against the spread in their last 8 games after an against the spread loss.
The Over is 4 and 0 in the Chicago Bears’ last 4 games on grass.

The Titans are the better team but I keep wondering how long they can keep this going. Traveling to Chicago to play the Bears after squeaking by the Green Bay Packers in overtime is a difficult thing to do.

Chicago still has a terrific defense and their offense, although not fantastic, should be good enough to at least move the ball effectively up and down the field. NFL betting fans need to take chances when they can.

I’m fixing to do so this Sunday by making an online bet on the Chicago Bears to beat the Tennessee Titans straight-up at the online wagering odds of + 125.
