In the most improbable over, Cleveland and Kansas City combined for 75 points against a total line of 36.5. On the opposite end of the spectrum the New York Jets and Atlanta combined for 17 points against a total line of 40.

Here is a brief recap of all the games.

Thursday, Dec. 17

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
Over/Under 43 Result 66 OVER

Jacksonville scored their second highest point total of the season (31) and still lost this game as Peyton Manning completed 23 out of 30 for 308 yards and 4 TD’s to keep the Colt’s record a perfect 14-0.

Saturday, Dec. 19

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints
Over/Under 53.5 Result 41 UNDER

Dallas gets a much needed victory and ends New Orleans bid for a perfect season. Tony Romo threw for 312 yards with no interceptions and the Cowboy defense held the Saints to just 17 points.

Sunday, Dec. 20

Chicago Bears at Baltimore Ravens
Over/Under 40.5 Result 38 UNDER

Baltimore QB Joe Flacco threw for 234 yards and four TD’s, while Chicago QB Jay Cutler threw for 94 yards and three interceptions as the Ravens coast to their eighth win on the season.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
Over/Under 40.5 Result 27 UNDER

It wasn’t pretty, but it was a win that pretty much locks up the AFC East for the New England Patriots as they barely beat the Bills the second time this season.

Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions
Over/Under 46 Result 55 OVER

Arizona needed a late 4th quarter five yard touchdown pass from Kurt Warner to Anquan Boldin to pull out a hard fought win over Detroit.

Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs
Over/Under 36.5 Result 75 OVER

Two of the worst offensive teams in the league combined for over 900 yards of total offense including 351 rushing yards by Cleveland in a 41-34 win by the Browns.

Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets
Over/Under 40 Result 17 UNDER

The Jets blew a golden opportunity to win this game as they missed three field goals and QB Mark Sanchez threw three interceptions in a loss that seriously damaged their playoff chances.

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles
Over/Under 43.5 Result 40 UNDER

Philadelphia racked up 422 yards of total offense as QB Donovan McNabb completed passes to eight different receivers led by WR DeSean Jackson who had six receptions for 140 yards.

Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Over/Under 40 Result 73 OVER

Pittsburgh snapped their five game losing streak while ending Green Bay’s five game winning streak with a last second TD pass from Ben Roethlisberger to WR Mike Wallace.

Houston Texans at St. Louis Rams
Over/Under 43.5 Result 29 UNDER

Texan QB Matt Schaub threw for 367 yards in the win but they were only able to come away with three field goals and one touchdown in four trips to the red zone.

Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans
Over/Under 43 Result 51 OVER

Tennessee FS Michael Griffin came up with a huge interception of Miami QB Chad Henne in overtime to set up the winning field goal for the Titans, putting a serious dent in the Dolphin’s playoff hopes.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos
Over/Under 37 Result 39 OVER

Oakland QB JaMarcus Russell came off the bench to replace the injured Charlie Frye and threw the game winning TD to WR Chaz Schilens with 39 seconds left to pull off the dramatic upset.

Cincinnati Bengals at San Diego Chargers
Over/Under 44 Result 51 OVER

Cincinnati came very close to pulling off the upset, but their inability to score touchdowns in the red zone; just one TD in four trips ultimately cost them the game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Seattle Seahawks
Over/Under 39.5 Result 31 UNDER

Tampa Bay scored 20 unanswered second half points in their upset win over Seattle. Buccaneers’s QB Josh Freeman passed for 205 yards and two TD’s, while Seahawks’ QB Matt Hasselbeck threw four interceptions.

Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers
Over/Under 43 Result 33 UNDER

Carolina held Minnesota RB Adrian Peterson to just 35 yards, while Panther RB Jonathan Stewart became the first back to run for over 100 yards against the Vikings in 36 games.

Monday, Dec. 21

New York Giants at Washington Redskins
Over/Under 43 Result 57 OVER

There is nothing wrong with the Giants’ offense as Eli Manning passed for 268 yards and 3 TD’s and Ahmad Bradshaw averaged 6.8 yards per carry and scored 2 TD’s against Washington’s 9th ranked defense.

These familiar post season faces were left for dead a week ago, but Pittsburgh and N.Y. Giants kept their playoff hopes alive with a big win. Keep an eye on both these teams to make some noise in the final two weeks of the regular season
