In his real season debut as a starter, Josh Freeman gave Tampa Bay something to finally rejoice. Freeman posted 205-yards on 14-of-31 completions for three touchdowns as the Bucs upset the Green Bay Packers at home to nothc their first win of the season.

The Jets have had a bye week to really get their act together. The Patriots did them a favor by handing the Dolphins a loss, but the Jets gave themselves no help by losing both matchups to Miami.

In the BetUS NFL odds, the Falcons are listed as a 1.5-point road favorite, with a posted total of 43 points.
The switch has been flipped in Dallas and that’s a dangerous thing for what’s starting to be a muddled NFC championship picture. The Cowboys still have to prove that they can string wins together in January, but for now they’re en route to the playoffs. It’s the exact opposite route the Green Bay Packers are taking this season after giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers their first win of the season.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season so far this year. They are 6-2 (and really should be 7-1) and currently sit atop the AFC North. They are a completely revived team with a healthy Chad Ochocinco, a replenished defense and a resurgent Cedric Benson.

The Chiefs struck gold in Chris Chambers while shedding the dead weight of Larry Johnson last week. Johnson, who cleared waivers and will wait till someone is dumb enough to sign him, was jettisoned due to his anti-gay remarks and overall baggage. In all honest, I’m sure the Chiefs have been looking a way to get rid of Mr. Can’t Get In The Endzone all season, and this just gave them reason. The Chiefs have been stalwart upset specialists on the football betting line against Oakland with a 5-0 ATS record when visiting the bay area.

With dominance in the AFC North on the line, and a storied rivalry between both teams in the mix, there certainly is no love to be lost in this one…largely because these teams have never liked each other to begin with.
