NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 13
Another whacky week of NFL action is in the books – no shortage of storylines this past weekend! But with all the craziness that ensued there is little change in the Dirty Dozen this week. The good teams did what was expected of them!
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 12
Week 12 is in the books and oh – what a week it was. The Broncos lost, the Chiefs suffered their second straight defeat and the Colts continue to slide down the Rankings at a rapid pace. Only two of last week’s Top 4 won this week – the other two were on byes! So how does it all affect this week’s Power Rankings?
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 11
Week 11 is done – it featured some key matchup – four of last week’s top 6 faced off against one another in tremendous games. There are no undefeated teams left – KC unfortunately slipped from the ranks and subsequently down the Rankings and there is a new addition to the top 5 – one that nobody saw coming even just a few weeks ago.
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 10
Week 10 – one of the craziest weeks of the season has come to a merciful end. Jacksonville and Tampa each won their first game of the season, while Carolina won it’s fifth in a row and just five teams have recorded six or more wins in the NFC – unreal!
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 9
Week 9 of the NFL season is in the books and as per usual – there were plenty of storylines that developed on the field – and more than a share of off-field issues as well. There’s been some shakeup in the Rankings this week – but not at the top where the lone undefeated team looms.
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 8
Another week and another slate of storylines for football fans to chew on before it all starts again on Thursday night. There was a bit of movement in the top 5 this week mostly because of the dud-win that Seattle delivered on Monday night but strangely the Rankings remain eerily similar to last week.
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 7
Week 7 on the NFL season is in the books and last week’s results translated to a shakeup in the Power Rankings. There is just one undefeated team left – they are obviously the #1 team – a shock to everyone. The top 4 have all flip-flopped thanks to Sunday night’s marquee matchup while some new teams enter the Dirty Dozen this week.
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 6
Week 6 of the NFL season is done – a few more teams fell from the undefeated ranks – only two unbeaten teams remain and of course, they are your top 2. There has been some movement in the Rankings since last week – some continue to plummet like the Texans and the Falcons while others continue to ascend like the Chiefs.
NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 5
Week 5 is done and as per usual there were no shortage of story lines in the NFL. More teams fell from the undefeated ranks, some teams continue to shock and Jacksonville – they continue to be Jacksonville.
The Week 4 AP Top 25 college football rankings were released on Sunday. No movement in the top 5, and Texas A&M were able to stay inside the top 10 despite losing on Saturday.
The most recent AP Top 25 college football rankings were released at their regular time this week. Some reshuffling in the top-5, and a huge jump up to No. 15 for Miami, but not many surprises beyond that.
The latest AP Top 25 college football rankings came out late this week because of the holiday, and those extra days of waiting were well worth it as there’s been plenty of movement throughout.
The top 7 teams in the Bowl Championship Series standings were unchanged from last week, with Florida, Alabama and Texas still in control of the national championship race. With 4th-place TCU a victory away from securing an automatic BCS bid and the loser of Florida-Alabama essentially a lock to be selected, only two at-large berths would remain. To be eligible for an at-large BCS bid, a team must finish 14th or better in the final standings, which are released Dec. 6.
This past Saturday we weren’t disappointed by College Football. There were several great games along with a few surprising outcomes.
Arkansas almost upset Florida in what would have been the surprise of the year, Sam Bradford re-injured his shoulder, Notre Dame fell short again in a winnable game and the Buckeyes looked as bad as they have all season.
After week 6 of college football we separate the pretenders from the real contenders as Florida prove once again why they are the number one team in the nation.
