This is one of those games that may not be very attractive at first glance because, frankly, they both stink. But in terms of betting, this is a good opportunity to cash in as there are some trends and inside tips that can help you make a winning wager.

Something has to be said for the coaching staff in New York. The talent is certainly above average, but the coaching staff has been able to dissect teams with disgusting precision. While going 16-2 ATS in their last 18 games on the road, the Giants have kicked off the season by wearing down the Redskins, picking Tony Romo three times in a 33-31 win, and shutout the Bucs who were previously the fourth best offense in terms of moving the chains. That’s why I’m not scared of a big spread facing them on the road in Arrowhead.
Terrell Owens was supposed to be a savior of sorts for Buffalo (at least that’s what they were hoping he’d be), but instead he was held without a catch last week. Personally, the crap that T.O. gets for being angry on the sidelines while his team is losing is unfair. The Bills were getting man handled by the Saints defense. What did you want him to do? Smile? Don’t be an idiot.
In the only battle of undefeated teams on Sunday, the Saints will host the Jets led by Dirty Sanchez. The best offense in the league will face the against the true number-one defense. The Jets and Bart Scott have allowed just 256.0 yards against total, while keeping teams in check with just 11.0 points allowed. They’ve managed these stats while playing explosive Texans, New England and Tennessee.
Kyle Boller is back, and everyone in St. Louis is trying to kick themselves in the balls. The weird part is that even the women in St. Louis are trying to do the same, which is how bad things have gotten in St. Louis. Nobody knows what the hell is happening, and now they’ve lost their perennial leader in Marc Bulger to another injury and will have to watch Kyle Boller try to lead this team against a Niners team which was one Brett Favre miracle away from going undefeated to open the 2009 betting season.
If not for the outstanding play of Matt Schaub (300.6 passing yards per game), the Texans would be getting demolished. They’ve allowed 28.7 points and 205.0 rushing yards against per game. Good thing for them they get to play at home against Oakland, the second worst offense in the league. JaMarcus Russell a huge bust this season, leading an offense that generates just 223.0 yards per game and has managed an average of 12.0 points per game.
