Saints Attempt to Exorcise Road Demons – Travel to Phili on Wild Card Saturday
The NFL Wild Card round kicks off this Saturday – the evening game features two teams that saw a resurgence this season – from brutal to formidable thanks largely to coaching.
The New Orleans Saints will travel to Lincoln Financial Field to open their postseason against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints have struggled on the road this season, while Philadelphia put together a better record away from home than in their own building during the regular year.
The New Orleans Saints made sure they caught everyone’s attention by decimating the Lions 45-27 in Week 1 betting. Drew Brees was the headline grabber of the weekend, throwing for 358-yards and 6 touchdowns. The game against Detroit was a nice tune-up, but now we get to really see what the Saints can do on the road against a vaunted Eagles’ defense that caused five turnovers last weekend against Carolina.
