After losing on Sunday to the the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship game, Vikings quarterback is already discussing his plans on whether or not to return next season.
As much as the Colts have to take the Jets seriously, I’m sure we can all agree that the Vikings/Saints game is the “heavyweight” battle of the weekend. Two great quarterbacks, two great offenses, two aggressive defenses, two teams comfortable playing indoors…sounds like fun.
Super Bowl odds are giving the advantage in Sunday’s NFC championship game to New Orleans as Minnesota heads to the Superdome to face one of the few crowds in the NFL that may be louder than their own.

That’s the adage that most people point to as an excuse for when guys like Ben Roethlisberger and Jay Cutler fall short. Yet no quarterback in the modern era has epitomized that trait more than Brett Favre. At 12-4 SU, the Vikings finished with the second-best record in the NFC.

Given how well Dallas is playing right now, it almost feels like we shouldn’t call them a true underdog – even on the road.
Last minute heroics by Brett Favre simply weren’t enough as the Vikings were stunned during a Monday Night Football betting loss to the Chicago Bears last weekend. With the New York Giants on the docket playing for respect to close out their season, the Vikings will need to snap a two-game losing skid to keep their hopes of a first-round bye alive.
Sunday Night Football in America features the Minnesota Vikings visiting the 3 point home underdog Arizona Cardinals at 8:20 PM ET at University of Phoenix in a potential NFC championship clash.
The Minnesota Vikings are rolling smoothly this season and will try to end the 11 point underdogs Chicago Bears playoffs hopes at 4:15 PM ET at Metrodome in a NFC North clash.
The 10 point underdog Seattle Seahawks travel to Minneapolis to face the Vikings at 1:00 at Metrodome in NFC matchup.

The Vikings are basically coming of two bye weeks as they easily beat the Detroit Lions 27-10 last weekend; meanwhile the Seahawks put up a hard fight against the Cardinals over three quarters but ended up losing 31-20.
