Browns QB Anderson Leaves game vs. Giants Early

Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson left Monday’s preseason contest against the New York Giants with a possible concussion. Anderson was sacked by Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora and immediately exited to be evaluated.

Brady Quinn replaced him, and as of right now is a mediocre 6/10 for 114 yds and 1 TD.

QB Marc Bulger had a tough season, throwing 15 interceptions to go with just 12 TDs. Bulger is fully capable of playing at a Pro Bowl level and with better luck this year; he may get a chance to prove it.

Carl Pettersson caught fire on the back nine Sunday to win the Wyndham Championship by two shots over Scott McCarron.

Pettersson fired a closing round of two-under 68, and a final score of 21-under.

Pettersson also set new 36- and 54- hole scoring records along the way.

The big bonus for him though was winning the tournament vaulted him into the TOP 30 on the PGA tour Fed-EX cup points list.
