Duke Blue Devils’ backers should feel good about their team heading into Wednesday’s game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
With a dominating 85-44 display against Maryland on Saturday, Duke took the cash as 15-point favorites and claimed the #1 spot in the AP Top 25 rankings.
There’s more than just one reason Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest betting day of the year. In addition to the sheer volume of people and dollars flooding the market, you also have more betting options than any other single day on the calendar – and the list of Super Bowl wagers on tap keeps getting longer and longer.
Let’s start by revisiting the Golden Rule of money management: Diversify.
This week’s stop on the PGA Tour is at the TPC of Scottsdale for the FBR Open. With Tiger Woods still sidelined golf betting remains wide open with great golf odds available.
1. Jets over Colts in Super Bowl III
You have seen the photos — Broadway Joe in Miami, lounging by the pool. Joe Cool, uttering the preposterous without a blink: The Jets will beat the Colts, Namath guaranteed it. And then the game, in which the new guard (Namath and the AFL) showed the old guard (Johnny U. and the NFL) that it ain’t bragging if you can do it.

I am submitting some Super Bowl props for the digestion of the powers-that-be at BetUS, and I certainly hope they can make use of “The Charles Jay Line” on things. There are so many of them that I cannot be certain these are completely original, but I wouldn’t bet against it.

It’s pretty common knowledge in football that winning the rushing battle usually means winning the football game. That is the case throughout the regular season, the playoffs and ultimately, the Super Bowl. Obviously, picking which team is going to win the rushing battle is not the easiest of tasks since if it was, everyone would be likely winning money on sports’ most wagered-on game.
