If you are a Boston Bruins fan, the result of Saturday night’s truly bites. After speculation that Alex Burrows would be suspended after Game 1’s alleged biting incident, it was Burrows that responded with two goals and an assist (one goal being the second fastest Cup Final Overtime goal in history). Now the series moves back to Boston where the Bruins will hope to feed off the home crowd and get back into a series in which a little better play in both games could have been the difference between losing and winning. Boston isn’t going to go down easily folks – there is still a lot of hockey to be played.

Vancouver looked pretty much unstoppable except for about 10 minutes in the second period. To see Alex Burrows contributing and Ryan Kesler looking more prominent, the Canucks have to be confident. They are two emotional leaders – let’s hope the emotion of a hostile Bruin crowd doesn’t get the best of them.

Roberto Luongo stopped 28 shots on Saturday night and looked every bit the $10 million dollars that the Canucks are paying him. Expect some more action on Monday however – the Bruins are bound to be wound up for this one. [ad-4437448]

Boston isn’t pressing the panic button yet – the truth of the matter is that one or two bounces in each of the two games could have turned the tide. Now they are at home where the crowd was the difference in Game 7 of the Conference Final and could be again.

Boston got a stellar game from David Krejci in Game 2 – he was a menace every time that he was on the ice. The Bruins need a little better play from his line mates and the second line as well. There is no doubt that Boston will bring their best on Monday night.

Tim Thomas is a high reward, little risk goaltender and the risk was the difference in Game 2. He has played well enough to have two wins in the series so far. The only thing that is lacking is better play from the team ahead of him. Thomas will certainly be ready to go and is due to steal a game in this series.

NHL Betting Trends:
Over is 5-1-2 in VAN last 8 road games.
VAN are 28-10 in their last 38 road games.
VAN are 39-15 in their last 54 overall.
BOS are 7-1 in their last 8 home games.
Under is 18-4-4 in BOS last 26 vs. Northwest.
BOS are 7-2 in their last 9 Mon. games.
Under is 5-1-2 in the last 8 meetings in Boston.

Betting Prediction: If there is one game that the Bruins win in the series it is Game 3. Expect the Boston crowd to throw Vancouver off their game just enough for the Bruins to prevail. Game 3 should make for a very interesting Game 4.

Game 3 Pick: Boston Bruins -115
