Week 13 NFL Point Spreads: Betting Tips & Expert Free Week 13 Picks

Expert NFL Cappers – Week 13 Projections

Week 13 of the NFL season is upon us – three enticing games on Thanksgiving begin a crucial week for some teams in the cloudy playoff pictures in both Conferences.

A loss by some teams could be a death-blow to their playoff chances already. Translation – there is a ton to play for in all 16 games on the schedule.

With that in mind it’s time to take a look at all of the games on the docket, the odds that accompany them and what should play out on a typically scintillating week of NFL action.

Thursday, November 27

Bears at Lions
Week 13 Point Spread: Lions -7

The Lions have surprisingly covered in just one of their last five games and have lost two straight road games ahead of this game. The Bears on the other hand have won two straight games albeit in unflattering fashion. One thing has been constant throughout the season and that’s the Lions defense that threatens to annihilate Chicago’s defensive line. If Jay Cutler cant’s get much going against Tampa, his chances of success are next to zero against what is sure to be a pumped up Detroit defense. Cutler and the Bears are way too generous on defense and their offense gives up the ball far too often. Take the Lions to win easily.

Eagles at Cowboys
Week 13 Point Spread: Cowboys -3

The Cowboys escaped New York with a nice win Sunday night while the Eagles got back on track with a 43-24 thrashing of Tennessee. This is a matchup of two of the best running backs in the league – I like DeMarco Murray to win this battle over LeSean McCoy. Tony Romo threw for 275 yards and four TDs in Week 12 – there appears to be no stopping the Dallas offense. The Cowboys defense isn’t great but it does have a small leg up on the Eagles. Take the Boys at home.

Seahawks at 49ers
Week 13 Point Spread: Seahawks pk

San Francisco has won three straight games heading into this one but they haven’t looked great in doing so. The 49ers have won five straight games at home versus the Seahawks. But the Hawks’ defense hit another gear in allowing Arizona just three points in Week 12 – look for that to be the difference as the healthy Seahawks make a statement.

Sunday, November 30

Redskins at Colts
Week 13 Point Spread: Colts -9 1/2

Washington has been good against the spread on the road even covering last week at San Francisco. But the Colts offense is due for a huge breakout game. Although the Skins are 8th in the NFL in pass defense expect Andrew Luck and TY Hilton to dominate in this one.

Titans at Texans
Week 13 Point Spread: Texans -7

The Titans have lost five straight games ahead of Week 13 – they can’t run the ball and Zach Mettenberger is still showing that he is a raw rookie. Houston dominated the first meeting – expect more of the same Sunday as JJ Watt and company wreak havoc on the lowly Titans.

Browns at Bills
Week 13 Point Spread: Bills -2

The Bills were mighty impressive in their beat down of the Jets on Monday night and may get to return home in Week 13. Their opposition in Week 13 the Browns has been playing some decent ball themselves. A return home after a terrific win should provide a boost to the Bills who should be able to hold an OK Browns offense in check en route to a narrow win.

Chargers at Ravens
Week 13 Point Spread: Ravens -4 1/2

The Chargers enter on a two race win streak but face a Ravens team that may have officially turned the corner in their Monday night win against New Orleans. Every aspect of Baltimore’s game seems to be peaking – take them to beat what looks to be an average looking Chargers team who are 0-6 ATS in their last six games. This looks like a 24-13 game.

Giants at Jaguars
Week 13 Point Spread: Giants -2-1/2

The Jags have just one win on the season and have covered just twice this season. The G-Men did some good things in Week 12 and should be able to end their six game win streak. Rashad Jennings will have himself a game and Odell Beckham should have his way.

Bengals at Bucs
Week 13 Point Spread: Bengals -3 1/2

The Bengals have been impressive their last two road games – both wins. AJ Green is healthy, Andy Dalton is over his funk and the Bengals running game is looking good as we enter the stretch run. Dalton and Green should dominate the league’s fifth worst pass defense and the running back duo should find some room as well. Cincinnati has a ton to play for – the Bucs not so much!

Raiders at Rams
Week 13 Point Spread: Raiders +7

The Raiders will be a confident bunch after snapping their 16 game losing streak last week. Although the Rams have covered in three of its last four games, the Raiders are 4-1 ATS on the road this year.

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Gotta love the Raiders to play hard this week and to keep this game close at very least.

Saints at Steelers
Week 13 Point Spread: Steelers -3

The Saints are reeling on both sides of the ball – three straight home losses ahead of their Week 13 game. It looks like a lost season for New Orleans – take the Steelers who have a lot to play for Sunday.

Panthers at Vikings
Week 13 Point Spread: Vikings -2 1/2

Carolina enters off its bye week but has lost five games in a row averaging 14.8 points per game over that span. The Vikings look better each and every week and are coming off a heartbreaking 24-21 loss to the Packers. Although Minnesota has lost five of their last seven games they are 4-1 ATS in their last five games. With the Adrian Peterson drama apparently behind them look for the Vikings to show up and send Carolina to their sixth straight defeat.

Cardinals at Falcons
Week 13 Point Spread: Cardinals -2 1/2

Despite delivering a dud against Seattle the Cards are still viewed as one of the teams to beat in the NFC. Arizona’s defense was still terrific in defeat and an offense that struggled Sunday gets a crack at the league’s worst overall defense in Atlanta. Simply put the Cardinals are good – the Falcons are not!

Patriots at Packers
Week 13 Point Spread: Patriots +3

New England has beaten six division leaders already this season – by an average of 22.2 points.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Bill Belichick is a game plan master – he will have something in mind for Aaron Rodgers in company. In the game of the weekend I like the Brady Bunch to stop Green Bay’s three game win streak.

Broncos at Chiefs
Week 13 Point Spread: Chiefs +1 1/2

There seems to be a formula for beating the Broncos right now – Denver must now go against the league’s best pass defense. I like a desperate Chiefs team to take advantage of a suddenly susceptible Broncos defense, to grind one out and to keep things interesting in the AFC West.

Monday, December 1

Dolphins at Jets
Week 13 Point Spread: Dolphins -4

The Jets are an absolute mess and may turn back to Gino Smith after Monday night’s debacle. The Fins are formidable and should roll in this game.
