Today we want to point out other NFL wagering angles that have produced results in recent years. So having said that, here are some NFL week 5 against the spread, Over / Under and Head to Head NFL trends we feel you should be keeping your eye on for some KEY NFL Week 5 matchups.

Let’s have a look at some of the key games coming up in Week 5.

Houston vs. Dallas

Sunday October 5
1:00PM
AT&T Stadium – Arlington, TX
Cowboys -4.5, 46

Houston

  • Over is 7-0 in Texans last 7 games following a ATS win.
  • Texans are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf.
  • Texans are 0-9 ATS in their last 9 games in Week 5.

Dallas

  • Over is 6-0 in Cowboys last 6 games in Week 5.
  • Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in October.
  • Over is 6-1 in Cowboys last 7 games following a S.U. win.

Oddsmakers are super high on Dallas right now. Watch that Texans defense chop them down to size. Take the Texans and the points.

Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans

Sunday October 5
1:00PM
Mercedes Superdome – New Orleans, LA
Saints -10.5

Tampa Bay

  • Over is 4-0 in Buccaneers last 4 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
  • Over is 5-0 in Buccaneers last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
  • Over is 6-0 in Buccaneers last 6 games in October.

New Orleans

  • Saints are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Saints are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
  • Saints are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

Head to Head

  • Home team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
  • Under is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings.
  • Favorite is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

No team is more desperate for a win than New Orleans right now but it is hard to trust them with that many points. This one is probably a pass.

Arizona vs. Denver

Sunday October 5
4:05PM
Sports Authority Field – Denver, CO
Broncos -7.5, 49

Arizona

  • Under is 5-0 in Cardinals last 5 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
  • Cardinals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games.
  • Cardinals are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win.

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Denver

  • Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
  • Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in Week 5.
  • Over is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games in Week 5.

Denver will look for redemption by beating Arizona. Odds are they get the win but I like the Cardinals to keep this one close, even on the road.

Kansas City vs. San Francisco

Sunday October 5
4:25PM
Levi’s Field – Santa Clara, CA
49ers -6, 44.5

Kansas City

  • Under is 4-0 in Chiefs last 4 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game.
  • Over is 4-0-1 in Chiefs last 5 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
  • Chiefs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

San Francisco

  • 49ers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games in October.
  • Under is 6-1 in 49ers last 7 games overall.
  • Over is 5-1 in 49ers last 6 games in Week 5.

Chiefs didn’t get as much of a bump from Monday night as I would have thought. Still you have to like San Francisco at home. They are 2-2 and haven’t played really well yet…its coming.

Cincinnati vs. New England

Sunday October 5
8:30PM
Gillette Stadium – Foxboro, MA
Pick, 46

Cincinnati

  • Under is 4-0 in Bengals last 4 games following a ATS win.
  • Under is 4-0 in Bengals last 4 games following a S.U. win.
  • Over is 3-0-1 in Bengals last 4 games in October.

New England

  • Patriots are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. AFC.
  • Patriots are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
  • Over is 5-0 in Patriots last 5 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game.

The Bengals just might be catching the Pats at the perfect time.  Less value than there was 36 hour ago but go with the cats.

Seattle vs. Washington

Monday October 6
8:30PM
FEDEX Field – Landover, MD
Seattle -7.5

Seattle

  • Seahawks are 10-0-1 ATS in their last 11 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
  • Seahawks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.
  • Under is 7-1 in Seahawks last 8 vs. NFC.

Washington

  • Under is 6-0 in Redskins last 6 games in Week 5.
  • Over is 5-0-1 in Redskins last 6 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
  • Over is 5-1 in Redskins last 6 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

Washington will probably put up a valiant fight but stick with the champs in this one. Kirk Cousins is still kind of a rookie.
