Meanwhile, the Browns are a work in progress, but have found ways to win games with an offense that is averaging just 19 points per game and a defense that is allowing 21 points per game.

Recently, Cleveland gave up 31 points in a loss to Detroit the last time out, allowing four touchdowns through the air.

The loss snapped the Browns three-game winning streak as they sit 3-3 on the season.

Offensively, the Browns have been piloted by quarterback Brandon Weeden , who despite connecting on only 26-of-43 passes for 292 yards and two interceptions against the Lions, did come away with two touchdowns in the effort. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Weeden will have his work cut out for him though, against a Green Bay Packers’ defense that is allowing 22 points per game and have two interceptions, 17 sacks and eight fumble recoveries.

In the meantime, the Green Bay offense has been as potent as its ever been, averaging 27 points and 450 yards per game.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers leads the Pack, completing nearly 65 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

The running attack is at full tilt as well, with Eddie Lacy leading the way with 4.4 yards per carry and James Starks with 5.5 yards per carry.

However, Starks is questionable for this one as well as injured outside linebackers Clay Matthews and Nick Perry.

Matt’s Free NFL Prediction

The Browns have proven that they can compete with just about anyone in the NFL and if they can establish an effective running game early on, may be able to take advantage of two key missing Packers defenders.

My play here is on he total however, with the score remaining under the given total.

Packers 24, Browns 17
