NFL Divisional Round Free NFL Parlay Picks

The quest to get to Super Bowl XLIX is in full swing heading into this weekend’s Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The betting odds in all four matchups lean heavily towards the favorites at home and total lines offer some solid value in a few of the games.

I have already dug deep into the four matchups on this weekend’s slate to come up with a pair of picks that come together perfectly to form this week’s NFL two-team parlay for Cappers Picks.

These picks are based on NFL betting odds as provided by BetOnline.

Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks

Pointspread: Seahawks -11
Total Line: 40.5
Matchup | Preview

Carolina’s 27-16 victory against Arizona in the Wild Card Round as a 5.5-point home favorite raised its straight-up record on the year to an even 8-8-1 and even though that total went OVER the closing 38-point line, the Panthers’ defense came to play.

Over the past five games, Carolina has not allowed more than 17 points and the total stayed UNDER in three of those contests. This unit could be the Panthers only hope to keeping this game close.

Defense has been the name of the game for Seattle during its current six-game winning streak.

The numbers speak for themselves after holding all six opponents to a combined 39 points. On the year, this unit is ranked first in the NFL in total yards (267.1) and points allowed (15.9).

Earlier this season, Seattle grinded-out a 13-9 road victory over the Panthers as a six-point road favorite with the total in that game set at 44.5. While it is set lower this time around, it is still high enough at 40.5 for another play on the UNDER in this matchup.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers

Pointspread: Packers -6.5
Total Line: 53
Matchup | Preview

The Dallas Cowboys finished the regular season on a strong four-game winning streak in which they scored 38 points or more in four double-digit victories.

This past Sunday against Detroit as six-point home favorites, they needed some last minute heroics just to advance to this round in a tight 24-20 victory that was aided by several favorable calls by the officials. That kind of inconsistent effort is not going to cut it on the road in Green Bay this Sunday afternoon.

Green Bay should be healthy and well-rested for this matchup after closing-out the regular season with a dominating 30-20 victory over Detroit as an eight-point home favorite to secure both the NFC North title and the No. 2 seed in the conference.

Not only do the Packers have Aaron Rodgers leading an offense that was ranked sixth in the NFL in yards per game (386.1) and first in points (30.4), they come into this game with a perfect 3-0 record both SU and ATS in the last three games in this series.

Make it four in a row as Green Bay wins SU at home while covering the 6.5 points.
