Wyoming may be a prohibitive 32-point road underdog in this game, but you would never know it just looking at its record. The Cowboys are 7-3 straight-up (6-4 against the spread) overall and 4-1 SU in conference play. The total has gone 4-5-1 in 10 games this season.

They are 4-1 ATS in their last five games and have covered the spread as double-digit underdogs in three of the games including a 31-20 loss to TCU as 19.5-point home underdogs.

Boise State is in the midst of another highly successful season, but a very costly 36-35 loss to TCU as a 16-point home favorite derailed its shot at derailing the BCS with a perfect record. Instead the Broncos are now 9-1 SU on the year, but just 4-6 ATS. The total has gone ‘over’ in seven of their 10 games.

This is still one of the most prolific offenses in the country behind quarterback Kellen Moore. The Broncos are ranked 14th in the nation in passing yards per game and seventh in the nation in scoring with an average of 43.8 points a game. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

The Cowboys are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games as road underdogs and the total has gone ‘over’ in six of their last seven games on the road.

The Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as a home favorite. The total has stayed ‘under’ in five of their last eight games at home.

The road team in this series is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Boise State has won the last five meetings SU, but Wyoming is 3-2 ATS. The total has stayed ‘under’ in the last three meetings. The Broncos should have little trouble winning this game at home, but they will not be able to cover a 32-point spread against a team as talented as the Cowboys.

The Pick: Boise State 48 vs. Wyoming 28
