The Drexel Dragons are led by coach Bruiser Flint, and they are off to a great 6-1 start this year. Louisville has started the season 8-0 under Rick Pitino. The Cardinals are enjoying their home court advantage at the KFC Yum Center. 
Drexel gets it done by playing terrific defense. The Dragons allow only 59 points per game, and they only allow opponents to shoot 40% from the floor. Chris Fouch is the offensive star of this team. Fouch is averaging 22.4 points per game this year, and he is shooting 43% from beyond the arc. Drexel is also terrific on the glass. A couple games ago they outrebounded St. Joseph’s 41-19.
The Louisville Cardinals had their toughest test of the season last Saturday against UNLV. The Rebels led at halftime, but Louisville came back and won the game to stay unbeaten. This team has four players averaging more than 10 points per game. The offense is scoring 83 points per game, but it is the defense that impresses me this year. Louisville is holding their opponents to a miserable 35.7% from the floor.
I think the Dragons will hold their own on the glass in this one, but I think Louisville has a solid advantage in athleticism. The Cardinals will force turnovers and push the tempo in this game, which will make it tough on Drexel. I think Louisville handles Drexel here.
