The Washington Wizards look to avoid yet another road loss this Tuesday night when they tangle with the New Orleans Hornets at the New Orleans Arena. The game is set to start at 8 p.m. (ET) and will be available on NBA League Pass.

It is 23 straight road losses and counting since Washington dropped its first road game this season. The Wizards come into this one having lost six out of their last seven games overall so things do not bode well for this team no matter where this game is played anymore. They are now 13-33 straight-up overall and 17-29 against the spread and in 13th-place in the Eastern Conference.

Washington has four players averaging in double-figures led by Nick Young’s 17 points a game, but it is still managing only 97.1 points a game. Considering the Wizards are giving up an average of 103.3 points a game, the -6.18 point differential does not allow for too many wins.

New Orleans has done a good job positioning itself in the Western Conference with eight wins in its last 10 games. While it is doubtful the Hornets will catch San Antonio in the Southwest Division, their 31-18 SU record (26-22-1 ATS) has them tied for fourth place in the West.

This team has had success this season behind the steady play of David West and Chris Paul. West is averaging 19 points and 7.3 rebounds a game while Paul is averaging 16.7 points and has a team-high 9.7 assists per game. The Hornets are also been solid on defense; giving up an average of just 91.7 points per game which is second best in the NBA.

There are no amount of points that should sway you to take the Wizards on the road especially against a Hornets team that is 19-5 SU at home this year. Stick with New Orleans to win and cover the 10 points
