The Celtics have not been playing much better either, they have dropped their last four games.

Sacramento

DeMarcus Cousins has been playing excellent since missing ten games with viral meningitis.

[dfads params=’groups=63742&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

He is averring 28.2 points per game on 55.1 percent shooting. In Monday’s loss to Brooklyn, Cousins dropped 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.

Small forward Rudy Gay has been playing well too. Gay scored a game-high 25 points in the loss on Monday. Sacramento has lost five straight on the road and will have to step on their play on the defensive end if they want to end the skid.

The Kings have had a disappointing season so far and are a woeful 2-8 in the last ten games. Although the offense has been putting up points, 102.5 per contest, the defense must improve. As a team, the Kings are allowing 104.0 points per game.

Turnovers have been a major problem as of late. Last game, Sacramento turned it over 21 times while only forcing nine. The Kings have the worst turnover differential in the league. They roughly commit 4 more turnovers than their opponents every game.

DeMarcus Cousins is leading all big men in turnovers per game with 3.8

Boston

The Celtics have had the last three days off after a 101-88 loss against the Wizards. Boston is learning how to play without point guard Rajon Rondo who was traded the Dallas Mavericks a few days ago. Small forward Jeff Green is the Celtics leading scorer, scoring 18.9 points per game, and will assume most of Rondo’s old duties.

Last game, Green scored a game-high 23 points and big man Jared Sullinger added another dozen. The undersized Celtics have had a lot of rebounding problems this year and were out-rebounded last game 48-36.

Sullinger is having a good year and still showing signs of improvement. He is averaging 13.3 points per game and is leading the team in rebounds with 7.8 per game.

If the Celtics want to win this game they will have to control the glass and shoot well from the outside. Coach Brad Stevens wants his guys to box-out and defend the paint and the offense will come from there.

Boston is allowing an average of 47.4 points per game in the paint which is good for 29th overall in the league.

NBA Handicapping Tips:

  • Boston is 0-4 ATS in the last four games overall.
  • Boston is 1-6 ATS in their last seven games playing on 3 or more days rest.
  • Sacramento is 2-5 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games.
  • Home team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven head-to-head meetings.
  • Under is 11-2 in the last 13 games in Boston.

NBA Gambling Prediction

Cousins will be too much to handle in paint for the Celtics and this game will most likely turn into a double-digit win for the Kings. Sacramento is very frustrated with the way they have been playing so look for them to take it out on Boston. The Kings have too much talent on their roster to play this bad all year. It is just a matter of time before they figure it out and get back on track.

Free 4* NBA Betting Pick: SAC -?

Look for the Kings to put up 50+ points in the paint. Also, Rudy Gay vs. Jeff Green will be an interesting matchup, but Gay should get the better of him.

Kings 106, Celtics 92
