The Dallas Mavericks will try and pull-off the season-sweep of their in-state rival, the Houston Rockets when the two teams clash for the fourth time tonight at the Toyota Center. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be available on NBA League Pass.

Houston has been eliminated from the postseason, but tonight’s game remains extremely important to Dallas as it is still battling the LA Lakers for the second seed in the Western Conference playoffs with just two games left to play in the regular season. The Mavericks snapped a recent four-game skid with a 107-96 win over the LA Clippers on Friday night as an 8 ½-point home favorite, followed by a 115-90 victory over Phoenix as a nine-point home favorite on Sunday. They are now 55-25 straight-up and 42-36-2 against the spread on the year.

Dirk Nowitzki is scoring 22.9 points and Tyson Chandler is pulling down a team-high 9.3 rebounds a game to lead the way for Dallas. The Mavericks are averaging 100 points and 41 rebounds while shooting 47.4 percent from the field, which is the fourth-best average in the NBA.

Houston has won six of its last 10 games including a 99-78 win over the Clippers as an eight-point home favorite on Saturday, but it is a case of too little, too late as its season ends on Wednesday with a game at Minnesota. The Rockets are 42-38 SU and 42-36-2 ATS.

Luis Scola, who is Houston’s second leading scorer with 18.3 points and leading rebounder with 8.2 a game, and Kyle Lowry, who leads in assists with 6.7 and is third in scoring with 13.5 points a game, are both questionable for tonight with injuries. With them out of the lineup, the pressure will be on Kevin Martin to carry the load for this team. He is averaging a team-high 23.4 points a game.

The Mavericks have won four of the last six games SU and all three games this season including a 106-102 victory as a one-point road favorite on Feb. 12. The total has gone ‘over’ in the last two games. Stick with Dallas in this game as well as its looks to build some momentum heading into next week’s playoffs.

NBA Gambling Trends:
DAL are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 vs. NBA Southwest.
Over is 14-6 in DAL last 20 road games.
HOU are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 Mon. games.
DAL are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Houston.
Underdog is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings.

The pick: Dallas 105-94
