Tuesday MLB Betting Parlay – Braves vs. Marlins Dodgers vs. Cardinals

MLB Betting Previews – Tuesday, July 24 Parlay

The MLB divisional races continue to heat up as the contending teams in the league jockey for position heading into the final two months of the regular season.

We have carefully analyzed all the pitching matchups on Tuesday’s slate of games to uncover a two-team parlay that promises to get your week off to a great start.

Game 1- Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins
Money Line: Atlanta -115 Miami +105
Total Line: 8

Matchup | Preview

Atlanta is expected to send Tim Hudson to the mound for Game 2 of this three-game NL East matchup. The right-hander is 8-4 this season in 15 previous starts and sporting an overall ERA of 3.70. He looked sharp his last time out by holding San Francisco to just two earned runs on eight hits in a little over seven innings of work to notch the win. Hudson is 12-4 against the Marlins with a 2.76 ERA.

Miami will counter with Mark Buehrle as its starter for this game. He lost to the Cubs his last time out to snap a four-game winning streak. Chicago tagged the left-hander for four earned runs on six hits in just five innings. He is now 9-9 overall with an ERA of 3.29. Buehrle is 3-1 with a 3.81 ERA against Atlanta.

The Braves are a perfect 5-0 in Hudson’s last five road starts against the Marlins and 10-2 in their last 12 games in Miami overall. Stick with Atlanta to run its streak to six as it picks-up the win on Tuesday night to secure the front-end of this parlay.

Game 2- Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Money Line: Los Angeles -125 St. Louis +115
Total Line: 7.5

Matchup | Preview

The Dodgers will go with their ace Clayton Kershaw on Tuesday night. He continues to pitch well, but has been strapped with a couple of losses to fall to 7-5 on the year. The left-hander has given-up three or less earned runs in seven of his last nine starts and has an overall ERA of just 2.74. He is 4-2 against the Cardinals with a 2.75 ERA.

St. Louis will turn to Adam Wainwright in Game 2 of this extended four-game set. He is 7-10 this season with a 4.42 ERA in 19 starts but coming off his best effort of the season. The right-hander held Milwaukee to one earned run on four hits in seven innings of work. He is 3-3 with a 3.10 ERA lifetime against the Dodgers.

Los Angeles is 19-7 in Kershaw’s last 26 starts against a team with a winning record and 16-6 in his last 22 starts on at least five days of rest. The Cardinals are just 1-9 in Wainwright’s last 10 starts on five days of rest. The Dodgers bring a seven-game winning streak over St. Louis into this series. Look for them to add to the total with a win on Tuesday night to lock-up the back-end of the parlay.
