Cappers Bills vs. Patriots Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 10 NFL cappers matchup tips for this week’s Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

AFC East Lead Up For Grabs as Patriots Host Bills

BetUS NFL sports betting enthusiasts have seen the Buffalo Bills (5-3 SU, 4-4 ATS, 4-3-1 O/U) lose each of their past two games in the BetUS Sportsbook. The New England Patriots (5-3 SU, 4-4 ATS, 2-5-1 O/U) had their modest two-game winning streak snapped on Sunday.

Now, both longtime AFC East rivals will be looking to win this contest and grab at least, a share of the AFC East lead and possibly outright possession when they battle at Gillette Stadium.

The Bills have dropped two straight divisional games, including a 26-17 defeat at the hands of the New York Jets on Sunday while failing to cover the spread as 5-point home favorites.

Quarterback Trent Edwards completed 24 of 35 passes for 289 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and one lost fumble. Running back Marshawn Lynch gained just 16 yards on nine carries as the Bills have lost their rushing attack in recent weeks. Jets safety Abram Elam returned one of Edwards’ interceptions 92 yards for a touchdown.

“It was big,” Elam said. “It was a big momentum swing to keep them from getting points and put points on the board for our team.”

“For the most part, we’re kind of beating ourselves,” Edwards said. “The only finger I’m pointing is at myself.”

The Patriots are coming off an 18-15 loss to the Indianapolis Colts but covered the spread for BetUS Sportsbook backers as 6.5-point road underdogs.

Quarterback Matt Cassel completed 25 of 34 passes for 204 yards with one interception while running back Kevin Faulk rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries.

Oddsmakers currently have the Patriots listed as 4½-point favorites versus the Bills, while the game’s total is sitting at 43.

The Bills lost to the Jets 26-17 as a 5-point favorite on Sunday. The combined score caused this game to be a PUSH on the posted over/under total (43).

Trent Edwards threw for 289 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for the Bills and Derek Fine caught four passes for 41 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots lost to Indianapolis 18-15 as a 7-point underdog in Week 9. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (44.5).

Matt Cassel threw for 204 yards with an interception for New England, while BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

New England Patriots -3½ -110

Over 41½ -110

Analysis: These two teams are very evenly matched up, but with the Patriots playing at home, I like them to win and cover the spread by the slimmest of margins while handing the Bills their third consecutive loss.
