The fans at Bradley Center will be treated to a game between the Connecticut Huskies and the Marquette Golden Eagles when they take their seats on Wednesday.
There is nothing worse for a College Basketball coach than missing out on March Madness. Several big name programs have found themselves on the bubble of being home come March Madness. With less than 4 games left for much teams they still have opportunities to get themselves in. A late season winning streak could help any of the teams on the bubble prove there worth to the selection committee.
The Pittsburgh Panthers are the number one team in the country but it’s the North Carolina Tar Heels who are favored to win March Madness.
Sportsbook.com has just updated its odds-to-win the men’s NCAA title and the Heels remain at the top at 3:1 odds. Pittsburgh is ranked behind them at 4:1 despite just moving up to #1 once again.
The Kansas Jayhawks have been extremely profitable this year and they hope to continue that trend Monday night at the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons travel to Duke to take on the Blue Devils. Duke hasn’t been all that great lately. They still have a fantastic straight-up record of 21 and 5, but they’ve lost two out of their last three games, to North Carolina and Boston College, and their against the spread record is an underachieving 11-13-1.
The Oklahoma Sooners travel to Texas to take on the Longhorns in a game where Oklahoma could further solidify themselves as a contender for the National Championship. The Sooners have been very good straight-up this season going 25 and 1. Their record against the spread in the Sportsbook is 12-8-1 but it’s good enough to put them into the Power Rankings.
Bracketbuster game of the weekend is still Butler @ Davidson: When the BracketBusters pairings came out on Feb. 2, Butler and Davidson were a combined 36-4 and easy choices for the top slot in the weekend’s made-for-TV matchups.

Another highly ranked team, the Connecticut Huskies, will try to bounce back from a terrible loss at the hands of the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Huskies not only lost the game but they lost Jerome Dyson for the season. Connecticut is still a very good team straight-up at 24 and 2, but their against the spread record in the BetUS online sportsbook leaves something to be desired at 10 and 10.
We are less than a month away from Selection Sunday (March 15) and the tip-off to March Madness. As the countdown to the Big Dance starts, the intensity level for all teams is turned up, even those with an invite already assured.
