We are halfway through the NFL season, give or take. This is a good time, then, for us to take a look at the teams that are being particularly kind to bettors, and those that are soaking the money bet on them in gas and lighting a match. Here, then, is a look at the good, the bad, and the downright ugly.
As many of you have seen my power rankings have been pretty good with predicting lines and winners in the NFL and NCAA Football season thus far. One of Craig’s Handicapping tools that he uses for each pick is his own weekly power rankings. Below is the top 10 for NBA which will change I am sure after the season gets going.
ANOTHER Sweep in my Big 12 Selections last week, 2-0 in my report and we unloaded on Oklahoma State +12 for my game of the week, who had a chance to win one down in Austin Texas last Saturday but fell 4 points short. There should be no disappointment in Stillwater this week, the Cowboys played punch for punch with Texas in front of the largest crowd ever in the state of Texas to see a College Football game!
Our Sportsbook.com writers continue to churn out victories and they are both hot after a 3-1 Sunday last week. While the guys have agreed on a lot of games this season, they aren’t seeing eye-to-eye this week. Cras enters with a 17-9-2 record with Mike at 16-10-2 for the season.

Love this time of year basically half way thru college and pro football. Yesterday the BCS standings were released which I think are usually not always a good power rankings or top 10. They do take several factors into account so they are close but sometimes they are just wrong. Craig uses his power ranking to help him handicap and pick games daily. That was one of my free play winners last week in my report for you, the other was Nebraska who covered big. Take it from me, I have seen Mizzou play twice in person this season, and they are a talented and explosive team.

A – Alexander, Shaun. The incredible fall from grace has taken a potentially brief detour to the nation’s capital. The former MVP needed a job, the Redskins needed running depth, and Daniel Snyder is more than happy to spend money without thinking about it – it was a match made in heaven.
I apologize for the lame title. Actually – I don’t! Either way you cut the mustard, McCoy is emerging as the definitive favorite in our NCAA football futures. However, McCoy can’t rest on the laurels of his team’s efforts. Sam Bradford continues to put up huge numbers. If anyone has to be concerned, it’s Chase Daniel.
Suck on that Oklahoma and Missouri! Texas and Colt McCoy are here to prove everyone that they are here to stay. The Longhorns continued their incredible undefeated season by trouncing the Tigers 56-31. Can you say Heisman? We’ll have an update on the Heisman Race (and I use that term loosely) tomorrow, but for now let’s see which teams are vying for those BCS votes and which teams aren’t worthy of your betting consideration.
