The conference has proven that quality, not quantity, earns national championships while the loop continues to get stronger by the season. However, Oklahoma’s loss to Florida in last year’s BCS title game perpetuated a problem that has officials in the conference concerned.

As we reported last year, the BIG 10 CONFERENCE has been an Ohio State love fest the last four seasons where the Buckeyes have gone 29-3 in conference play while capturing four straight titles.
That puts Ohio State in elite company, tying Michigan with four consecutive crowns. Better yet, OSU is the only team in its 112-year history to have stood alone atop the BIG 10 CONFERENCE four straight years.

While BIG EAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL continues to come up big in bowl games (12-4 SU the last three years), the fact of the matter is the league continues to shrink in stature. That’s because a dismal 15-25 ATS performance mark outside the conference last season watered down a sparkling 81-37 ATS effort the prior three years.
The lines are up for every game in the NBA Finals. Want to bet Game 3 in Orlando? The Magic are 3-point favorites, and if there is a Game 7 back in LA, the Lakers are 6-point favorites.

Each year I write something that pertains to this subject. Let me preface by saying that baseball is my least favorite spectator sport as a fan of the game, straight up or with action on it. I am a huge College Football fan, being from Nebraska I have no choice, as well as NFL, NCAA Hoops (what’s better than March madness, really?) as well as the NBA.
The final four teams in this year’s NBA playoffs have been set, as the Conference finals are set to tip off this Tuesday. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Denver Nuggets had already closed out their second round series as the Cav’s took out Atlanta in 4 games and the Nuggets disposed of Dallas in 5. The other two series came down to a “winner take all” game 7, with Orlando shocking Boston at home and Los Angeles cruising past Houston in a rout.
In another tale in the sage of Manny Ramirez goes to Hollywood, it was annouced that the LA Dodgers MLB Picks slugger has been suspened by Major League baseball for 50 games because of taking a baned susbstance. However sources are saying that substance Manny is being accused of taking is not a susbstance commonly used for performance enhancing (at least not on the MLB Picks diamond).
