Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors Preview

On the season the Grizzlies are 45-44-3 ATS and they have an O/U record of 36-53-2 and the Warriors are 50-39-1 ATS and they have an O/U record of 40-49-1.

This season the Warriors are 42-3 at home and the Grizzlies are 26-19 on the road.

In Game 4 of this 7-game series the Warriors beat the Grizzlies 101-84.

The Warriors drew even with the Grizzlies 2-2 in this series with a Game 4 win in Memphis where they offense got on track. In the Games 2 and 3 losses the Warriors were shut down by the Memphis defense, but in Game 4 they shot 47.5% from the floor.

The Warriors scored 101 points in Game 4, which is still 9 points less than their season average, but it was the Grizzlies’ offense that really struggled only scoring 84 points on 37.5% shooting.

Stephen Curry led the way in Game 4 scoring 33 points and he hit 4 of his 9 3-pointers. It was shown in Games 2 and 3 that if the Griz can keep him from having big games and especially keep him from hitting the long 3 that the Warriors can be beat.

Marc Gasol was only 7/19 from the field in Game 4 and PG Mike Conley was only 4/15 from the field. Zach Randolph had a solid shooting night, but only took 10 shots hitting 5 of them for 10 points. He and Gasol have to shoot the rock well tonight, but the big key is the Memphis defense.

The Grizzlies are not a high scoring team and they have to keep the score down to win, which they did in Games 2 and 3. Golden State committed 21 turnovers in Game 4 and were outscored on the fast break, but they still won the game by 17 points.

Draymond Green opened up the floor for Curry in Game 4 going for 16 points and 10 rebounds after only going for 6 points in Game 3. His floor spacing is key and he needs to have another solid night.
