As we head into the third week of the 2010 NFL preseason we have now had a good look at all 32 NFL teams in action. There are a couple of teams that obviously need the next two weeks to try and correct some early season mistakes and there are a few teams that appear ready to start the regular season right now.
So far it has been good to be on the road this season as the visiting team is 20-12 ATS going 10-6 in each of the first two weeks. The points were flying around last week as well as nine games went over. New Orleans, with arguably the hottest offense in the NFL went over by themselves, putting up 48 points against Philadelphia.

The third week of the NFL 2009 preseason kicks off this Thursday with games scheduled all weekend long. The best thing about the 3rd preseason game is that most teams will play their starters into the 3rd quarter. These games should give us some indication of how close or how far a team is from being ready for the season opener in a little more than two weeks.
