It’s been quite a year for California hockey – the Sharks were very good and now the Kings and the Ducks will meet to see who plays for the Western Conference Championship when they kick off their second round series Saturday.
The Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers will face off in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The series begins on Friday at the Consol Energy Center in Pennsylvania on Friday.

The Tar Heels had their long winning streak snapped by Duke and then lost again in the ACC Tournament to Pittsburgh.
