Last week nine home teams won straight-up and against the spread. For the 12th time in 16 weeks the total bet favored the ‘over’ with nine games scoring more points than the total line and seven scoring less. The dogs once again had their day in Week 16 as while only seven teams getting points covered the spread, all of them won their game outright.
It all comes down to this, the final week of the of the 2010-11 NFL season. Some teams will have the season wrapped up while others will still be fighting for a postseason bid or will have totally been eliminated all together. Here I take a look at Week 17 giving you some early insight that will help make your NFL wagers winners.
The final weekend of the NFL season is here and while most playoff positions are set, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some bet-worthy matchups in Week 17.
Heading into the final week of the regular season there are a handful of games that will have a major impact on the entire playoff picture. In the NFC all six playoff berths have been filled but we only know one thing for sure; New Orleans is the #1 seed.
Sixteen teams will kick off on Sunday to play the final games of the 2009 regular season. Most of the playoffs are locked with just of few of this weeks contests factoring into this years postseason picture. My pick for game of the week is Philadelphia at Dallas. This should be a good match up as the NFC East title is up for grabs.
