The Colorado Buffaloes are a ways a way from being competitive in the Pac-12. That was evidenced when they went 4-8 overall last season, and it’s even clearer when you look at their 1-8 record in conference play – a record bad enough for a last-place standing in the Pac-12 South Division.
The 2012-13 Colorado Buffaloes were one of the worst teams in all of college football, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that. Head coach Jon Embree led his team to a 1-11 season, and as a result, he saw himself kicked to the curb when the year finally came to an end.
It’s hard to believe the Colorado Buffaloes won the NCAA Football Championship in 1990. This program is a proud program that has really fallen on hard times in the last few years. The Dan Hawkins experiment didn’t go as planned, and now Jon Embree has been left to pick up the pieces.
The Colorado Buffaloes have struggled to compete in the Big-12 for the past five years, and have not having had a winning season since going 7-6 in 2006. Now they will get ready for their first season in the PAC-12 after a dismal 2-6 conference finish in 2010.
