Capperspicks Wild Card Round ATS Angles
Let the playoffs begin! It is a bittersweet time for football fans – we get to see who the best in the land is – but we only have four games this weekend to obsess over. At least all the games are filled with intrigue.
After jumping out to a nine-game unbeaten streak and a sure spot in the playoffs to start the 2013 NFL season, the wheels fell of the bus for the Kansas City Chiefs, who now find themselves fighting it out with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday in an AFC Wildcard playoff game.
These two teams played just a few weeks ago with Indianapolis getting a solid victory over a Chiefs team that is not the juggernaut we saw over the first half of the season.
If you’d asked last January who the two worst teams in the NFL were going to be going into Week 5, not very many people would have answered with the Kansas City Chiefs. And no sane person would have included the Indianapolis Colts on that list either.
I bounced back with a nice Week 4 but Week 5 will be no easy task. Many of this week’s spreads look positively treacherous on paper. Let’s see if I can find some viable ones to try.
