The Orlando Magic are still recovering from the departure of Dwight Howard, but they’ve done an excellent job of procuring young talent throughout the process. Their 13th-place finish out East last year doesn’t do justice for the talent on this roster, and while a shot at the playoffs is still questionable, we should start to see improvement during the 2014-15 NBA season.
Kings NBA Picks
The Sacramento Kings are a classic example of a team that has procured talent without turning that talent into wins. This franchise hasn’t made the playoffs since the 2005-06 season, and while you shouldn’t expect 2014-15 to be the year that breaks the drought, this could be one of the most entertaining seasons we’ve seen from this group in quite some time.

The Charlotte Hornets have seen one of the NBA’s best turnarounds the past two seasons. They’ve gone from being a team stuck in the basement of the league to a squad that is a legitimate playoff hopeful.

The Memphis Grizzlies have spent the past few seasons attempting to take the next step from perennial playoff participant to legitimate contender. Although it has seemed at times that the step had officially been taken, most still view this franchise as a notch behind the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunders of the world.
