Head-to-head, the Patriots are 4-1 SU and 2-3 ATS in the past five meetings, the last of which was Oct. 1, 2007, when the Pats won 34-13 as an 8-point road favorite.
The first Sunday Night Football game of the season features an NFC East battle between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins (8:20 pm ET, NBC).
NFL Week 1 Odds have the Cowboys as a 3.5-point, -190 moneyline favorite and the over/under at 40.
The teams are both 5-5 SU in the past 10 meetings while the Redskins have the advantage against the spread at 7-3 ATS.
And while it’s just the second week of the 2010 College Football season, there are some games this weekend that could have early bowl implications.
One such matchup pits the No. 12 Miami Hurricanes against the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday at The Horseshoe (3:40 pm ET, ESPN).
The teams haven’t met since the 2003 BCS National Championship game, when the Buckeyes took the title with a 31-24 double-overtime win.
NCAA Football Odds have Ohio State as an 8.5-point favorite and the total at 47.
